Thread: Wow this thing is ugly....IGN play tests the PSX, sorta.

Idiotic casual gamers will think it's a completely new system. And being a revered Playstation, they'll cop it.

I'll laugh at them. It will drop in price once Sony notices their idiots for putting it that high.

May even drop faster than N-Gage.

You are now playing on antiquated gaming hardware, playing an out-dated, expired gaming line-up. No new game can be now be played on your expensive hardware. How many people can afford to spend almost a thousand bucks for this thing?
Ding-ding-ding. You've hit upon Sony's all-encompassing business strategy: Sell horribly overpriced crap, get idiot to buy it, and then release a suped-up version of aforementioned crap with a jacked up price. Rinse. Repeat.

That is neat, but the price is way too high. It must also have controller ports for playing games. I could not see them.

I have no desire for that whatsoever. I want to play games, not record shit.

If I wanted to record stuff, I'd just buy a Tivo or something. I'm not into the set-top box thing.

I was thinking it didnt look too shabby, but then I saw the $900 price tag. Fcuk that with a capital F. Sky Plus or Tivo would suit me better

Fcuk with a capital F. Maybe it could have a capital D...

Just thinking outside the box... which, in this case, the box sucks. Put it out, as a matter of fact, make thousands, hundreds of thousands...and millions...

And then! Most of them WONT sell...BYE BYE Sony...

    Ha..what a dream..

If only we lived in a world where that was possible.

Instead, Sony will still somehow make a killing on these, preying upon the ignorance and stupidity of others.

What really trips me out is didn't Sony just report a huge frikkin loss and lay off thousands and now they want to release this $900.00 POS and expect to make a profit?

It's only the execs that want to make a profit...they'll pocket the money and hoard it, and then cite a loss of revenue and then lay off more workers. The corporate cycle is vicious.
