Sony pulled PS3 launch titles off website - is everything still on track?

Joystiq is wondering why Sony would have pulled the list of launch titles off of their site so suddenly. Do you think everything's still ok for the Spring launch?

Check out this hilarious post on Joystiq, posted in reply to that article!

It is imperative that I give you the following information, which Playstation 3 wants concealed from the public. Instead of focusing on why relative even to hotheaded, irascible politicasters, Playstation 3 is more excitable, more violent, less sexually restrained, more impulsive, more prone to crime, less altruistic, less inclined to follow rules, and less cooperative, I would like to remind people that Playstation 3 constantly insists that a book of its writings would be a good addition to the Bible. But it contradicts itself when it says that it commands an army of robots that live in the hollow center of the earth and produce earthquakes whenever they feel like shaking things up a bit on the surface. In all fairness, Playstation 3 has planted its drones everywhere. You can find them in businesses, unions, activist organizations, tax-exempt foundations, professional societies, movies, schools, churches, and so on. Not only does this subversive approach enhance Playstation 3's ability to interfere with my efforts to give peace a chance but it also provides irrefutable evidence that if you look soberly and carefully at the evidence all around you, you will certainly find that we are observing the change in our society's philosophy and values from freedom and justice to corruption, decay, cynicism, and injustice. All of these "values" are artistically incorporated in one person: Playstation 3. Playstation 3's lapdogs perpetrate all kinds of atrocities while alleging that they are simply not capable of such activities and that therefore, the atrocities must be the product of my and your feverish and overworked imaginations.

I might add: Playstation 3 is locked into its present course of destruction. It does not have the interest or the will to change its fundamentally sexist bromides. Okay, I admit that Playstation 3 will simply continue to cause distress to people it doesn't know, has never seen, and who have done it no harm whatsoever. But testy loonies are receptive to Playstation 3's officious messages and fool easily. But it goes further than that; Playstation 3 wonders why everyone hates it. Apparently, it never stopped to think that maybe it's because it likes thinking thoughts that aren't burdensome and that feel good. That's why I have a dream, a mission, a set path that I would like to travel down. Specifically, my goal is to delegitimize Playstation 3. Of course, it likes to quote all of the saccharine, sticky moralisms about "human rights" and the evils of sectarianism. But as soon as we stop paying attention, Playstation 3 invariably instructs its intimates to mold the mind of virtually every citizen -- young or old, rich or poor, simple or sophisticated. Then, when someone notices, the pattern repeats from the beginning. Though this game may seem perverse beyond belief to any sane individual, it makes perfect sense in light of Playstation 3's prolix pronouncements.

This march into wanton vigilantism is not happening by mere chance. It is not, as many offensive derelicts insist, the result of the natural, inevitable course of things. It is happening as a direct result of Playstation 3's hopeless strictures. Rhetoric aside, Playstation 3's a pretty good liar most of the time. However, it tells so many lies, it's bound to trip itself up someday. After having read this, you may think that a large percentage of Playstation 3's flunkies can be termed sadistic. Nevertheless, you should always remember that Playstation 3's protests are a hotbed of antiheroism.

Its curious that they're not up anymore, could be for a number of reasons. But where was it confirmed they were launch titles in the first place? It seemed every online outlet reported them as "confirmed for launch" when the Japanese text apparently said nothing of the short. All dated TBD. GT at launch? C'mon.

I simply don't know for sure, but it looks to me like another case of someone finding a "leaked" document (i.e. a document available online and discovered by the wrong people) with juicy information, which is a proof of good things to come and yet to be revealed, and Sony simply removed it because it is not their intention to make it available for everyone to see.

Haven't read much about this subject, so don't quote me on this anyway.
