World of Warcraft or Guild Wars?

I just got a brand spanking new Hp Gaming computer and I need help on which game to buy first.

    Guild Wars
    Vs
    World of Warcraft

Also how is (Warcraft) compared to these two games?

ive only played Guild Wars, an awesome game but it gets old pretty quick, i hear WOW is alot better

Get Guild Wars, WoW has a $15 per month fee aaaand.

Guild Wars is just an all around sweet game, if you get it I can show you the ropes.

for free Guild Wars is awesome

they are both good, but i have heard WoW is a lot better. It is more open, and will last you a lot longer. the bad part is that it is $15 a month so you have to have time to play it. I will start playing it again here soon. some members play it here.

I bought WoW today and I will probably get Guild wars next week.

That way I will make the right decision.

  7. havent played Guild Wars, it looks fun but personally WoW is so good you wont wanna play another game

  8. Unfortunately for Guild wars it is a very short game. The game tries to focus mostly on PVP. The missions in Guild Wars are very ho-hum and can get repetitive and boring.

I would get WoW in my opinion. If you have the money to pay the monthly fee it’s so worth it. HUGE population of people never give you the feeling that your alone in the city. The worlds are beautiful and the missions are very fun. You can have a mission within like five so you feel like your doing some epic quest.

also if you level up enough, you can participate in raids if you are in a pvp server. i havent done one personally, but they are suppose to be really fun. you pretty much go to the opposing side's land and attack.

WoW, and i have played both. WoW is overall the game that will last you longer. And is just overall more fun. 2 Suggestions though, Start on a newish server. Roll on the side that is less populated. I regret not rolling horde considering the queue times for Battlegrounds is extremely long on the alliance side on my server.

I played Guild Wars for a while when it first came out, and it was a good game and all, and it was nice that it was free to play, but World of Warcraft is the hands-down winner between the two if you can afford the monthly fee to play it. Guild Wars is a better pick of money's tight.

Guild Wars is free online...but if you are gonna be serious about it I would say keep WoW and leave it at that.

WoW. Guild Wars although free just doesn't last as long as Neverwinter Nights.

Guys, Guild Wars has more of a life span than you think. You probably sucked at it to say it was short. You know..there is an imense chunk of PVP

Well compared to some other games where you can just continuously create new experience and get new experiences Guild Wars is very easy to squeeze the fun out of.
