DoD Source

Was finally released yesterday. DoD was my favorite Half-Life mod, so of course I was fired up about this. Played a little last night, and it rocks. Still has the same old DoD feel, but with the improved graphics and engine.

Definitly a nice touch!

The game would be good if:

1. You could hear
2. The rifles actually were useful
3. RUN SPAMMING DIDNT OWN EVERYTHING

It's a CoD wannabe now.

At least they did a better job then what they did with crappy CS: Source.

i dont know what you were playing. I love it. You cant just run in there and kill everyone unless you are playing with like 3 other people. but i must agree, that i dont like the rifles.


And Counter-strike:source is awesome too. Its the exact same thing, except better graphics. I dont see the problem with it.

Yeah Been playing it for a couple of days now its alright I wish they didn't combined the rocket and the staff srg tho... since that was the only gun i used in dod... But I am a way old school DOD player from 1 till 2.1 is when i played then it got gay fast..
