Oh hell yes. Well, when going through the game the 2nd time, I stopped to notice a lot of things. I listened to a lot of the codecs like on saving (like how Para-Medic goes on about movies) and I've got to say. This game is fucking sweet. The graphics are probably the best up to date graphics (The fury seen with firey scenery, oh my god my eyes were just amazed). A lot of people are saying that games like The Twin Snakes have much better graphics because it takes place in a building, where as this one takes place in a jungle. Not true, the building missions just look gorgeous.

This game is so in depth. The sound to start off is great. If you're lying ddown in the grass with a guard around you you start to notice birds chirping, cicadas buzzing, frogs croaking. At first it all seems like ambience music. But if you look hard enough you can find each and every animal. The overall music fits the game perfectly. Feels like a 60s bond movie in the evasion seens. The voice acting is probably the best in any game out. Countless scenes showcasing this stuff. Good enough movie kind of stuff.

Presentation 10
everything is slick, codec, survival viewer, opening start menu, etc

Graphics 11
Makes me angry that everyone thinks that ps2 graphics stink, this goes toe to toe with any Xbox/Gamecube games.

Sound 10
Voice acting, sound effects, everything was thought out correctly

Gameplay 10
Probably the most fun you'll ever have on a stealth game.

Lasting Appeal 9.0
Not much to do when you're done. Downloading new skins is pretty cool. The snake vs. monkey feature wasn't too bad either. But an online mechanic woul dhave been awesome.

this is probably my favorite game of the entire year. Maybe in the whole next-gen.

I been craving to play this game, but I have noone to borrow it from (Damnit gungrave buy this game already!!) and have big late fees at my video store :P
I'm glad you enjoyed the game, it makes me want to play the game even more!

I beat it like the second day it came out. Oh and The Twin Snakes has shitty graphics, nobody said they were good. MGS2 has better graphics then TTS.

In Closing, MGS3 is the best ps2 game ever.
