Yes, WAY before its launch date. Preorders get you games and systems earlier than others.

When you hold it, it'll feel soo damn thick, so easy to carry around....

Its faster, quieter, and compatible with virtually all games. I'm gonna buy Contra to see if it works.

How'd I get my console? First day, I was supposed to get it on the 13th, but it was sold out (I was working that day - all day), I went to college the next day, then I went back, and stayed outside, for hours, waiting for it, because they were supposed to have it in that day, finally, I gave up, and went back home, so today, I had to work, I asked my mom to go in and pick it up for me...I gave her my reservation reciept (140 bucks), and she paid for the remaining balance of the system (which was 25 bucks), and she was good to go, and I got it. When I came home, I was happy. I played Mortal Kombat Deception, its bonus disc, and Gradius V.

Now, all I need to do is wait for GRAND THEFT AUTO SAN ANDREAS!

YEAH BABY, YEAH!

That post was written last friday, it was just copied and pasted into this post, because, I hate writing the same thing over and over again, friday is the day I got it. And - the official launch of the system is November 1st.

So, anyway, I got it friday, and its awesome. :thumpsup1

The PSTwo is just a gimmick. It's the same low quality product with less the sturdiness of the bulkier counterpart.

I mean come now. Would someone actually purchase it because it takes up 2 inches less of counter space, or just so they can go around saying that they own it for bragging rights?

It gave me Disc Read Errors, so I took apart EVERY piece of the hardware....and my bro now has it....I donno what he did with it, though.

How is the official release of the pstwo on nov 1st if ebgames and gamestop and every other gaming outlet has it and online says "usually ships in 24 hours".

It can be shipped to you/store in 24 hours after it's out.

Let me be clear with you, so that you understand.

Sony announced that november 1st, it is relased to the public, but since Sony sent it to retailers weeks in advance, the stores only sell it to preorder customers. So basicly, you'll be able to buy it on the first.

Online retailers are sending them to the earliest preorders, and online shoppers, becase they recieved it weeks in advance before the official launch.
