Halo PC

Ya, so Halo PC should be coming out soon. I think it's been delayed a few times, but o well. Halo PC is gonna dominate Halo xbox. Think about it. Patches, updates, mods, skins, maps, weapons, and oh so much more. Besides, online capabilites will probably be better than halo 2's. Much more people will be involved in a multiplayer if it's on PC. Mainly because most people have a comp, and because the PC version is usually updateable, and modable. How badly will this affect xbox? Microsoft is countering with halo 2, but will it be as good as the first? Hopefully. I've played halo twice. The first time sucked because i didn't customize the controls. I was trying to play TS2, and that didnt work out to well. But the second time was great. I'll definitely get Halo PC.

Well, I have the Halo press release version 1.5 (beta) and it sucks balls. I have a good comp, capable of running HL2 with good graphics, and Halo freezes, doesnt run well, and to tell you the truth, doesn't look as good as the xbox version IMO. Controlling with a mouse is nice, and flying the Banshee is hella fun, and the new maps are cool. I'm hoping that when the game ships, it won't have these problems, or that it's just an older beta I have and they are fixed in the current one.

of course..you played a leaked beta copy that wasn't completed nor was optimized for most graphics cards..

i played it too, and i like the Xbox version better although the new rocket hog and the flamethrower is the shit.

I love Halo, but I'd never buy an XBox, so I'm quite pleased with this news. I just hope that Bungie keeps its word and delivers to us the Mac version we've been waiting for since 2000.

Anybody got requirements on this game? I'm getting a new comp and this kills 50% of my reasons to get an Xbox, another 25% will be gone as well with the PC version of Raven Shield, and then 15% killed by Jedi Academy for PC, finally......the last 10% shot down by KotoR for the PC. I just realized how useless an Xbox can be if you have a working PC...better controls on PC, better graphics, better experience all together. But if you don't have a working PC then Xbox is definitely a nice alternative. Oh and people wondering about Half-Life 2...that would be on my list of Xbox games shot down but I wouldn't get it for Xbox, since that would kill the whole gaming experience for me, either play that game on PC (the way it's meant to be) or not at all is what I'm thinking.

BTW, I wasn't bashing the box...I was just joking, but I was making fun of what's his name . I really like the xbox, and think it has potential...as much as the other systems. They are all great in some form or fashion. But we all know...nothing beats the GBA right now
