Subject: Future Nintendo Games

1. Is the Earthbound 1&2 game (Known as Mother in Japan) coming to America
and is Earthbound 3 coming?
2. Namco is creating 3 exclusive RPGs for Gamecube in Japan, Tales of
Symphonia is coming to America but is Baten Kaitos and the other coming to America?
3. Nintendo said that it would be releasing a new piece of hardware in BY qtr
1 2004 is this the recently announced pager device for GBA?
4. Is Nintendo dropping the price of its Nintendo Gamecube and is it true
that this Christmas it will come with a Zelda compilation?
5. Are any new Nintendo Gamecube/GBA games going to be supporting the E
reader?
6. Nintendo seems to be hinting at something BIG coming up soon for their
systems when will we find out about this?
7. Does Nintendo make first party M rated games or is it against their
policy?

Hello,

Wow, you certainly must be a great big fan of Nintendo and video games to have such in depth questions. I'll answer your questions as best that I can, but keep in mind, Nintendo's Consumer Service Department has about the same information available that our web site, www.nintendo.com, has. Since we are Nintendo of America, we only handle support for products released in the U.S. and Canada.

1. At this time, there have been no announcements that the Earthbound series is planned release in North America. We'll have to see what the future holds, but I will forward on your comments, for feedback purposes.

2. Baten Kaitos also has not been announced as a game planned for release in North America.
I'm not sure what the other game you referred to might be, but you can find all available information on www.nintendo.com or www.namco.com.

3. We'll have to wait and see what new hardware is released in the future. I don't have any information regarding a pager for the Game Boy Advance. As you know, some products that are announced in one part of the world do not always get released in every part of the world.

4. There have been no announcements regarding a Zelda compilation disc or a price drop for the Nintendo GameCube. If and when a price drop occurs, there is usually not much warning ahead of time.

5. The upcoming Pokemon Colosseum will use the e-Reader accessory, as well as Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 for the Game Boy Advance. Of course, keep checking our web site for more information.

6. Nintendo always has something big cooking. But until there is actually an official announcement, which would appear on our web site, there is really no way to know what those big things might be.

7. While Nintendo has not developed any M rated titles, we have published three, so far. You are probably aware of Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Perfect Dark. Nintendo doesn't have a policy against developing games with mature content, so far, we have just had our attention focused else where.
