Anyone get it yet? I hear good things. SSX is the only sports related game I'll play, because it's not boring. Hopefully they kept the over-the-topness of the previous 2 games.

OMFG.


Seriously.. this game is BEAUTIFUL. It brings tears to my eyes. Everything is well polished and clean. The menus are improved yet again. The trick system has been revamped like whoa, so you can make huge amounts of cash with just 1 trick. The entire gameplay aspect has been changed, instead of just having a linear path where you choose to race or show off, they just drop you on top of a mountain and along the path you have choices of events to go to. This game is HUGE. I've only played for about an hour, and I have yet to leave the smallest dent in this gigantic mountain peak. If you're a fan of the series, you will be in love, I promise you. And if you haven't played any of the SSX games and wondering where to start, pick up this game. There's really no sense in buying the first two at this point, SSX3 has all the features plus more. The only reason I could see why you would want the other two before this one, is for the boarder background information. From what I can tell, you can get text messages on your little cell phone/weird electronic thing from other boarders. It's really fuckin cool. Definitely makes you feel like you're making friends/enemys with the AI more so than in the other games.
