xbox is a decent console its just that the company behind it i think is realy quite scabby and the people who play it are immature enough to publish sh#t like this.

I like reading Xbox Editorials written by xbox fans. It just always seems like they are trying to reassure themselves that xbox is the most amazing console.
Fact is theres a hype around every console, but this generation, it looks like the consoles will actually be able to hold up to what we have seen. Sure for the PS2 we had the duck demo, which looked pretty sweet, but we didn't actually see anything that looked that good consitantly, But with PS3, we saw gameplay at E3 that looked amazing. We saw demos and we saw gameplay. The demo's of corse would look a bit better because it doesnt have to process input and AI, but when we start seeing gameplay demo's we can start to believe the hype.

Anyways what about the Microsoft hype machine.
I'd bet my ps2 that microsoft are going to try to get people to abrieviate Xbox 360 to X3 or X360 or Xbox3 just to make it sound equal to PS3
What about the HD Generation I've seen 2 or 3 games that looked notably better than Xbox.

Actually the Xbox has met or even surpassed that, look at games like Ninja Gaiden, Halo 2, Chronicles of Riddick, DOA 3 Ult XBV.


The main difference between the pic and the games would probably be resolution (maybe lighting).

Yeah, it's a ridiculous article because it paints Sony as the company responsible for all that hype, whereas a lot of that hype (like the whole Saddam aspect) just sort of happened. Sony obviously would not want their console to be associated with missiles and Saddams army; the whole drama began because the Pentagon was worried the EE would grant foreign governments a powerful processor for possible missile guidance and there was talk of export restrictions for a while.

Anyway I don't think Cesar's really changed his mind much on PS3 since writing that article, especially considering that he runs TeamXBox - so at the very least it behooves him to keep quiet if he has had any change of heart.

The EE would have made a decent missile guidance for various nations like Iraq especially when it is so readily available. The US brought up the export restrictions so that Sony would have to carefully export the PS2. This was also one of the reasons why Ken Kutaraji does not see the Playstation as a toy.

By the way, if anyone actually believes that the PS2 fanbase could just be forced to buy a overly expensive PS3 that is nothing but hype, then he is living in some really ackward world. Do they actually expect Sony to withdraw $500 or so figure from our credit/debit cards?

Heh no I'm sorry but xbox didn't surpassed this IMO! What you see is clearly CGI but while some xbox games look cool, they absolutely did not reach this level of graphics. Anyways, the level design is so ugly I wouldn't mind not having a game like this...

Well the boards over there are full those who have no idea what they are talking about, but you get that everywhere. Its a good place for Xbox related news but your not going to see anything (or very little) pro-sony in that regard yes I agree the sight is very immature.

Cesar is a moron; he did not even cite the source where he got the Xbox 360 and PSP connectivity article from. The source was from PSP vault and Xbox365. Worst part is that he watermarked the pictures. He never seems to post anything substantive and always post inflammatory articles. Also he made fun of Gamespot as well, some journalist he is. Glad to see that you migrated here from TeamXbox, woundingchaney. While I don't always agree with you, you do post insightful thoughts and you do not seem biased at all.
