The Best Ps1 Game

I think the best game for PS1 is Legend of Dragoon. It has everthing a game should. I havent played it for a long time because im stuck on the last boss. But i used to know a code that changed that little triangle on top of your player back to blue. The Triangle changes from blue (no enemy fight) to yellow( enemy fight closer) to Red ( fight very soon) well the code changes it from red or yellow back to blue so you dont have to fight minor enemys. Does anybody know this code or a place that this code is listed? thanks alot

Wow! I'm glad someone else appreciates the greatness of that game! I may be a super FF Freak.. but LoD is my healthy alternative... The best character in that game is Rose, hands down! The story-line is as gripping as any FF.. and was once called "The FF Killer" ... but unfortunatly it didnt get very popular... I hear a sequall was suppost to come out soon.. just dont know when.. ... and codes? .. eh, I wouldnt know. ^_^;

I gotta say Final Fantasy VII, cause I literally played that game day and night for as long as I could remember. It was probably the most intruiging game that I had the pleasure of going from the beginning to the end.

RE2 was better on N64... but I guess if we're just concerned with what games are actually on PSX, then yes... RE2 was very good.

I have a friend that is all about Legend of Dragoon and from I can tell it was a pretty good game if you like RPGs.
I just got a PSone this summer so, I really haven't played enought to say what I think is the best.
(haven't played any RE games or MGS)

man is everyone forgetting about Chrono Cross? Im just got on the second disk and the whole game has blown me away. I love crazy plot twists where nothing is what it seems. I just found out that Fate is actualy a computer and some crazy time warp thingy is in effect and whatnot. Man this is already becoming one of my favorite games of all time. I cant wait to learn more. Im on one of those game binges where you play a game non stop till you beat it. The last game that got me this interested was FF9, which for some reason no one likes...I guess the only reasons that no one likes Chrono Cross is either it was a sub par sequal to Chrono Trigger, or it has a realy crappy ending. I sure hope not.

I played it and I hated the battle systen.

Oh, and too many characters that have no point in the story at all.

Other than that I liked it.
