Play Online with out a Router Tutorial!

I have been browsing on the web for some info on PSP Online action and i came across this site

    http://www.pspcrazy.com/wifihack.htm

and it seems really promising as i dont have a router, but my IP is static, would this have any effect on the settup of the USB Adaptor? Im getting some US Games real soon for my JAP PSP, but i assume SOMEONE has a USB Adaptor and a PSP here.
    Thanks!

It has been said that this doesn't work anymore with the 1.5 firmware update on Jap PSP's. Same for US PSP. My USB adapter is on its way so I should be able to test it out soon.

you dont need to do that stuff. you have to be close enough to the router (signal should be like 40% 50 ft away) and set it up with the psp under settings (last choice)
    NA PSP Value Pack:
    · Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade
    · Wipeout Pure

man, literelly as soon as you said it doesnt work on the 1.5 Update, i had finished installing it . Oh well, ill wait and see what you guys find out.

  9. any new news on this?

  10. Testing it now, I have Wireless on my laptop, crossing fingers.

    *UPDATE*
    - No luck yet, my PSP is a v1.50 if that helps. Not giving up completely yet but it seems to show a sign of life. It's shown a connection error twice and the rest (8+ Tries) were "Could not find Connection Point" so I don't know, it might be that I messed up doing some IP stuff or that the v1.50s don't work.

    *UPDATE 2*
-The error code I get is 80410D07, any help on that? Thanks

    *UPDATE 3*

-It Worked! I think.. Listing Details:
    Connection Name Laptop
    Signal Strength 1 %
Internet Connection Failed (Ehh, I didn't connect to online, trying that later..

Hurray, too bad I only have WipEout.. Wait, doesn't that surf the web?
