From the highly popular Japanese puzzle game Puyo POP comes Puyo POP Fever for a new generation of gamers, retaining the addictive qualities of its predecessors to the core.
Simplistic and extremely good fun, the game features single player and, highly entertaining, ‘can’t put the controller down’, multiplayer options, captured by a mix of 2D and 3D elements that become more apparent as you play. The additional fever mode adds a slightly different twist to the gameplay, providing opportunity to create a string of chain reactions that will annihilate your opponent if executed correctly.

It's on the IGN PSP list, but I haven't seen any details on it. Always wanted a Bust A Move game, but haven't dragged myself to doing it yet.

Apparently Bomberman is coming out too, I just hope it's like the original or Saturn Bomberman.

The WiFi capabilities and the 16:9 aspect ratio are brilliant. You can play wireless online everywhere. Puyo Pop Fever, my first PSP game will be the first Puyo Pop Fever game to support online play on consoles or handhelds. It utilizes the Widescreen, so you'll be able to play with your friend face to face by holding one PSP from both sides.

It's not really split screen. In two player you play on two seperate boards, so you need to see what your oponent is doing.

Even in one player mode the screen is usually split into two. Look at the screen on the previous page.

Yes, I realize that. What I meant was, I have not seen many handheld games have a simultaneous two-player mode using only one device.
