Thread: How much do you play with your hand-held console?

  1. How much do you play with your hand-held console?

I own a GBA SP with several games.
Sometimes I play for over 6 hours (every sunday I do 300 km to see my girlfriend :? ), so the PSP battery life for me it's ok.
Maybe I can also buy the battery pack, so I can enjoy some movies.

    What about you?
PSP or DS?This is the problem...

  2. Up until recently i haven't been using my GBA, but i've sort of got back into it at the moment. As i've finished exams now i'll be on for a few hours a day, playing the lovely Spyro! haha!

  3. Don't have one.I was going to buy a GBA for the DBZ games but,I think PSP will be my first

  4. depends on what game i get. id play golden sun for the gba for hours. so a game with a bigger screen and ps2 graphics would keep me playing until spiders start to make webs on me
    NA PSP Value Pack:
    · Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade
    · Wipeout Pure
+ 1 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo
    <!-- I wish I still had money... -->

  5. I generally play on my GBA every day and now that they've worked out how to put movies on it who knows what's going to happen

  6. one more thing that psp would make us happy is that we could enjoy the marvelous SNES roms on our MemoryStick

We all know porting ps2 games to PSP could be done within 2 weeks... now just imagine the homebrewd SnesStation (SNES PS2 emu) could be ported to psp in no time.
And don't forget the genesis emu for ps2 which currently runs at 99% speed
GBA PS2 emu is currently at 33% done,, it should be done when PSP hits the market.
Let alone many other emus and all could be ported to psp

I just can't wait for PSP indeed.. It could be the ultimate handheld gaming device for the next 10 years

Hah and all those Nintendo Fanboys are praising backwards capibilities. When we can just emulate all of the GBA + GBC. Nice...

  8. Well i dont play on my GBA anymore but i would imagine i would play for upto 4 hours non stop on the psp but regular probably 2H.

    Movies???
Those are cartoons, there is no way a movie can fit in those cartridges. Even if they do find a way, it's gonna suck with that crappy and small screen.

  10. It might not be that bad on a GBA SP thats not too bad size screen..

  11. I play on my GBA whenever I feal like it. I've only got 2 games for it.

I don't think GBA can handle a 3d movie. If it did then why dosn't it have 3d games.

  12. Yes but do you mean the SP or not??

  13. The SP is a GBA with a backlight and better desighn.

  14. Well does it have anything different inside???

i'm sure it does doesent it?

  15. With the millions of people that own a GBA currently, some are bound to get confused or worried - Is the GBA outdated? Should I should have spent that $70 dollars on something else and waited for the SP?

The answer to both of these questions- No. This new Game Boy Advance SP is not a new gaming console. Inside the 3x3 casing is the same guts found inside your Game Boy Advance. What this means is that GBA-SP owners will not be able to play any games that you can't. Just like the original GBA model, the SP plays all Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy software. Think of this new system as a premium version of the GBA. Don't worry about getting one unless you need to have the most cutting edge and coolest looking tech gadget on the block, or if the lack of a backlighting system is a big problem to you.

I don't own it, and I'm not interested in it for several reasons, but i read that the quality of movies is quite good.

Euh... maybe because a 3D movie as you call it is pre-rendered and saved as a movie file so you would just need a movie recognision. 3D games are rendered and the Gba can handle it but don't expect too much from it.

If you meanth somethng else with 3D movies please explain...
