    RESIDENT EVIL PS3

Could PS3 get RE to its self ???? what do you think?

It is possible, but if Capcom retains its deal with Nintendo, then you may not see any Resident Evil games on the PS3 at all. But time will tell, if Capcom like the PS3 architecture, then its possible resident evil games wll be made for it.

  3. I would only imagine there being another RE like the multiplayer RE Outbreak due for the Ps2 soon, but besides that I doubt it considering how Nintendo has the RE series exclusively. But maybe, Capcom and Sony will strike a deal for a new RE series/story, but again, I doubt it.

I think the RE series needs to die or take a vacation because every game takes place in Raccoon City, never somewhere new... it is getting old and boring... repetitive to same the least.
Resident Evil 4 takes place in a completely different location than racoon city. Also Code Veronica was not in racoon city either!

We could see a conversion of Resident Evil 4 to either PlayStation 2 or PlayStation 3.

I thought that once RE4 was made they would be going back to Sony. Haven't seen anything official though.

Anybody got a link to an article perhaps? That's if there's one available anyway.

I don't see how they're going to make a Resident Evil game for the PS3. I think the ideas are finally running dry. That's just me of course, let me know what you think!

I don't think that the storylines have been too bad so far. It just depends what they can come up with between now and the launch of the next-generation consoles I guess.

cube only has 5 exclusive titles of the RE game and RE4 will be the 5th Resident evil game they got RE0, RE1 remake, RE2, RE3, and RE4 is the last.

Resident Evil 2 and 3 aren't GameCube exclusives. They were released on the PS1 a good 4 or 5 years ago.

but they got 5 RE games that all they could get exclusive.

As far as I know, RE2 & 3 on the GameCube are exact ports of the original titles. They're there just so that people who haven't played the series before can get up to date before 4 is released. I wouldn't really consider 2 & 3 as exclusives though.

Yeah I agree, even if you said "Exclusive to this generation of consoles" that statement still wouldn't be true, because RE2 and 3 came out on Dreamcast as well.

  16. well i think once RE4 comes out the RE series is back home againg. i say this because look capcom announced that they are making RE outbreak 2 already. they must be happy with the sales of it on ps. so i guess they might after all release all RE remakes and 4 on ps2 or ps3. it would be real cool to see RE 0, 1,2 ,3 ,4 code veronica all remade for ps3 in real time but with the control scheme of RE 4 and that the environments are bigger and more out doors scenarios. For example RE 1 the forest it would be cool that you have to find your way to the mansion and run away from the dogs all in real time it would all be so cool.

i wonder how good will cell shaded graphics be on the next gen systems.

  17. And playable on PS2.

  18. Scary, i tell you RE is "emotionally disturbing"

I think there´s definitely a high possibility, that RE series will be back on Sony´s console. Capcom has made it clear they´re unsatisfied with how little RE series has sold on Cube. Because of the larger customer base, they would have sold it at least 5 times more, if it would have been released on PS2. And I think it´s already obvious who´ll have far more larger customer base with the next generation era. It´ll definitely not going to be Nintendo.

EDIT: Eitherway, the loss of RE series hasn´t been such a misfortune, as the series have gone worse with each new sequel.

RE2 was slightly emotionally disturbing, but Silent Hill is far beyond RE when it comes to uncontrollable twitches effecting your psychy.
