Is anyone here subscribed to the Official Playstation Magazine? I have been a subscriber for 3 years now and I love all the monthly info that comes with the wonderful demo :?:
Yeah, there have been times when I thought the mag editors were smoking crack or something. I can't remember what it was exactly right now but I now it has happened.Originally Posted by the legendary ice man

The inside the game video of Final Fantasy 11 and socom were niiice (I can't wait to get part 2 of 11)
I'm subscribed to the American OPM.
PSM kicks thier ass....
Ive subscribed to EGM rather, for the past...ummm 5 years or so now.

I can't really say which mag is the best, since I've only read a few other ones. All I can say is that I'm very pleased with OPM and I wouldn't change it for another mag.
how much does it cost to subscribe
It was about 3 or 4 dollars a month for a whole year... I think.Originally Posted by GT4 RULZ

anyway they aslo get a lot less wrong then most mags. i stoped getting psm2 because they seemed to be getting more and more techy stuff wrong each issue. as for opsm most of the stuff on their is released on official playstation website first. and as for the demos im 2 bust playing games on the net at school and going out 2 play demos
magazines = crap.
They have out dated news, reviews and pretty much everything else.
Use the net. Thats what its for.
yeah thats damn rightOriginally Posted by CloudANDTidus
but edge is cool as u non mainstream stuff
Yeah, but it's funny how you know more than those game journalists.
Like when Opm said the title Gta: San Andreas was positively ruled out i had to hold my laugh seeing almost everyware that name was used and mentioned. I can't wait till the next mag so i can read them appoligising for their mistake.
The aim of an argument or discussion should not be victory, but progress
Actually you probably know far, far less.
The information they write their magazines on is very outdated. So at the time, yea GTA: San Andreas was probably ruled out. Luckily companies arent spewing out every little secret to journalists or the public immedietly, huh?

well it depends on what area of knowledge, when it comes to tecky computing stuff well my sister knows more then they doOriginally Posted by RichardCypher101

when it comes to gaming, sometimes they know stuff because they get showed by developers and made to sign NDA's. but when it comes to knowing about the industry itself and from bits of info that have been released when trying to work out what this means and wots most likely to happen, they again know nothing. u see game j.... are just avg gamers that do j........, and the avg gamer knows nothing unless he or she is told it.
the day mags actually work out that clock speed isnt a way to measure peformance i will eat my hat
