should the keyboard and mouse be compatable with ps3 games?

This only really applies to FPS's and RTS's everytihng else it wouldn't be but i would still like to see it supported ad a method of control.

Ya im all for Keyboard and mouse support for FPS games IMO.Alot would argue that those 2 things belong in the PC world but when using a joystick on a FPS game i just cant get it out of my head how better it might be with them.

Keyboard & mouse only for entering names and words and 4 playing fps games, not for all games.

Yea in most cases i beleave this to but for typing a keyboard is definitly needed. U might say hay u don't becuase of head sets, but for games like FF11 that are part console and part pc a keyboard is kind of required to communicate with each other there.

However, I will put my 2 cent in this thread:
PS3 having USB ports to support mouse/keyboard is almost 100%, since PS2 had it, why not also have it for PS3? Sony should, and will, look for better innovation, and not de-innovation, so why take out the USB ports?

Maybe replacing with built-in wireless recievers for them, Firewire?

I'd love to see FPS' with Keyboard and Mouse compatablity - They are a little easier...but I like sitting on my bed playing them so it won't be very succesfful in my house :?
