If this is true, could this be a way to make Sony start talking more so that Nintendo can know what Sony is going to do?

Many are saying that March 2006 is just excessively early as there are no dev kits to developers or the controllers not finalized. Of course, I say because of NDA's developers could not speak on Revolution games and have been working the past year on Rev titles using GC Dev Kits or Beta Rev kits.

Wouldn't be surprised if this was real, however, there's a possibility that this is fake aswell, so I'll wait for something official.

Edit: noticed the March 2006, so most likely fake.

I don't see it. I think that's one of those things that's just in the eye of the beholder. If anything, I'd guess that the shadow is of the person taking the photograph, blocking a light source behind him resulting in the sort of halo around the shadow. It definitely looks nothing like Mario, though. At least not any more than it looks like anybody else.
