this time about animal crossing
and they want ign users to complain to ninteno![]()
i saw we attack their boards and take them out
we can do it

A link would be nice...
if they wanna play NES games then wait for the fuckin revolution damn whiny bitches
I didn't see where they wanted users to complain to Nintendo, but either way, at least this piece was more respectable and actually offered a possible compromise. I don't really have a problem with this.
But yeah, they do seem to enjoy whining in general...
EDIT: I just noticed that this is the main highlight for IGN DS. I do think that is a bit overkill.

I have to agree. The nes games were mucho fun. It added alot to the game. I atleast hope they took them out for a good reason. Alot of space was left over in the game so I hope they add alot more things.

We will not stoop to that level, thank you very much.Originally Posted by lucozader
Nevertheless, they have little reason to whine, the inclusion of online play will most probably make up for that little flaw.
It's really not that big of a deal, but I can understand that some of you will be dissapointed to hear this.
Maybe, just maybe, the registration code you get with AC: DS will act as a code to download the games using Revolution's online service for free. Probably not, but you can't blame a guy for doing some wishful think, right?
meh, i don't think they're really making too big a deal of it.
Big thanks to Ihsiin for the sig!

IGN should shut the fuck up. They lose the few shreds of credibility they have with stupid shit like this.
what is wrong with you people? Nintendo is not God, people are allowed to complain and wish for the best, and journalists are allowed to express their opinions about whatever they find impotrant, that sure as hell happens here. Honestly.
Do I entirely agree with that article? No, I don't think the problem with ACDS is no NES games (although that does suck), but rather how immersive and complete online will be for the game. That's my gripe. I'm afraid that Nintendo isn't going to fully realize online with Animal Crossing, and what we're going to get is sort of what we got with Pokemon for GameCube. Colossuem had an RPG like we've always wanted, but it didn't really live up to what we wanted, what could certainly be done, but wasn't for no apparant reason except to add more to a future sequel. I hope Nintendo doesn't cheat us out with AC since it's my most anticipated game (even over Zelda).
the only thing i found disturbing was the picture with the caption:
"What could be if Nintendo cares about its DS version."
:: gasp! ::
THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY ADDICTIVE ABOUT THE WII![]()
It does seem rather alarmist, but I do like their thought about porting GB games. That's actually a pretty good idea.
Will this particular inclusion/exclusion make or break Animal Crossing? No. They're just stirring the pot again for some publicity. At least it encourages some discourse.
Your focus determines your reality, young padawan.
The point is that IGN is gettin annoying. They are complaining about something ridiculous and think an entire game is going to be ruined because of excluding old games? It's utterly ridiculous. I could understand if they had an article that said "No NES games for ACDS, good or bad." and had a poll or something, but there is 2 pages of whining there. Professional journalism, that is not.Originally Posted by neo999955
Sure it kind of sucks, but there's most likely a reason for it.
One possible reason: They'd rather you go out and actually interact with people instead of staying in your house and play NES games. I would agree. Why would they put minigames in an online game?
He said in the article that the game could still be great without them.Originally Posted by koten

hey...ok i understod with the other one....matts or whatever....HD doesnt matter and stuff .... but this one? This one is ok....i myself was upset nintendo wasnt including the NES games.
Very mature. Attack their boards because they wrote an opinion article that actually makes sense?Originally Posted by lucozader
1. Attacking boards is a pointless thing. It does nothing but make you look like an idiot.
2. Attacking boards was only feasible like 5 years ago, when it wasn't so easy to ban a user, prune their posts, and absolutely embarass them in every way possible.d
Anyways, Animal Crossing was a great game, and the NES games only made it greater.
Well if you played AC just for the NES games then that says alot about the game itself. Its not fun enough if you want to play the NES games mainly. Its like that BMX XXX game. The game sucked so they put some some stripper movies (and you totally saw the flesh, even in the game characters) to give you an incentive. To begin with the actions you do even walking from one point to another have to be fun. That should be for all games.
Well obviously the NES games should be a simple side dish. I don't think it's really a big deal if they're removed personally. However, it's a good addition, and I can't see why they wouldn't add them if they were in the GameCube version.
I liked the collectable NES games in the GCN Animal Crossing, and wouldn't mind having them in the upcoming DS title, but I can live without them. The game shouldn't, and in my opinion doesn't, need them, but I can understand Craig Harris's (author of the IGN article) feelings on the matter. It doesn't bother me, though.
