http://revdeveloper.blogspot.com/Hello. We are a develpment team for Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. We have worked on the past two SSB and we ARE working on the third, codename: Fire, with various other development teams. We call ourselves Team Beta. We consist of 20 members. We will try to keep you updated about Super Smash Bros: Fire, as we update it, and hope to provide you with as much information as possible, without giving to much away, as we can. And now that you know a little about us, let US tell YOU, about our current project. We can tell you that Super Smash Bros 3, codename: Fire DOES have 20 default fighters. have over 25 unlockable characters have online capabilities have over 5 single player modes ONLY use the new REVOLUTION controller. This is about as much as we are allowed to release about the game for now. Please check back for updates. P.S. - A release date has not been confirmed, but will ship ALONG SIDE the Nintendo Revolution!
The above has now been taken down due to a request of Nintendo.com
Hmm? Make what you will out of it.
HtPB
Sounds fake, because they said they almost got fired for those tiny snippets of info. I don't think Nintendo would threaten to cancel one of their best selling games over such a trivial thing.
Hmmmmmmm....Well... We guess Nintendo got a bit mad about the amount of information we gave out. According to them, the information put them in danger against other developers and franchises. We almost lost our jobs, but in the long run, Nintendo thought it was too much of a loss to drop a team this far in development. So, for all you lucky ones who saw the information, congratulations, and for the new-comers, we truely are sorry. We tried.
WE CAN RELEASE!:
The controllers ARE gyroscopic.
The controllers ARE NOT touch screens.
The controllers DO NOT include screens.
The controllers WILL BE USED in storing small bits of memory(ie. profiles).
I can' wait to see this game. It's my most wanted game.
^Same here alongside Zelda
SSBF has a nice ring to it.
I like the 5 single player modes. After I beat All Star mode with all the characters, I only went back to it a few times. This means we'll have to beat more than 5 modes with over 45 characters (apparently) which is like more than 225 times.
*can't wait*
^ooo look at you, math genuis, lol
I hope the characters aint a copy of each other like in Melee
looks to me a lot like TEH FAHK
Interesting... I like that controller is much more personal that way. It might even get my lazy friends to buy more controllers. The controllers WILL BE USED in storing small bits of memory(ie. profiles).
Nah, I don't beleive it. First off, that first peice of information posted had way too many gramatical errors to sound like it was authentic. But even if you look past that, if just seems like a sad attempt at some kid trying to get everyone hyped up (aka Aries).
fake
Someone's trying to create a stir for all we know.
Consider this: SSB is developed by HAL Labs in Japan... should this explain the small grammatical errors, that would be an excuse, but still.. it sounds too good to be true.
Until Nintendo itself releases info themselves that is when I will truly believe... until then, its safe to be amused only.
Super Smash Bros: Fire sounds terrible to me.
This whole thing sounds made up to me. And HAL is deffinatly making this game, and I'm certain they have at least 50 employees.
Even if it is fake Fire is the codename again.
lol
they WOULD get fired for releasing info about the controller without nintendos permission.... and WHY would they feel a sudden urge to do that???
OK here's the bet: if this statement turns out to be entirely true then I'll buy a revolution console for you as soon as it comes out. If it's fake then you'll buy Zelda: Twilight princess for me as soon as it comes out.... anyone wanna take it? PM me.
as long as kid icarus is a fighter i will be happy
Nintendo needs to stack the games with characters, and cut down on the clones (or completely eliminate them).
Falco fans such as myself would be very made if they did that. Not to mention the Dr. Mario fans, the Ganondorf fans, etc. They shouldn't give the old ones new move sets, but they should not make any new clones. Ooh! It'd be really cool if you could chose whether you want SSBF movesets, SSBM movesets and SSB movesets for the characters that were in the older games! That'd solve everything.
I think this is teh faek. The controller thing sounds plausible, but the first three were obvious/confirmed already. The fourth is a good idea, though.
Why are little kids allowed near the internet without supervision? I can't believe anyone could possibly take this seriously for a second.
It is probably fake. Nintendo probably took it down because they were revealling fake details about the game and not because they will reveal surprises about it. I have learnt not to trust blogs any more.
