the ds has download play, which means it must have some internal ram memory right?
i was wodnerng about this, how is the ds in itself gong to be updated to being online? i was told about pictotalk replacing pictochat but then that would mean the ds would also have to have internal rom free.. does it?
if it doenst, then how would it work?

I have thought about that... How does it remember your settings? is that off of a ram, or a interal rom like you have speculated. It gets you thinking

wat if ninty erases picto chat from your system and just replaces it with pictotalk or if they brought out the some software. Kinda like the network cd for the Ps2. It will be a GBA cart that upgrades your DS and stuff

I like pictochat


And DS doesn't have internal memory outside of the mem used for the main menue. It just part of the programing.

The DS has been able to go online from the start. They just havn't made the infrastructure and the likes then. They don't need to update it.

hrm, ok if they dont update picto chat how would it be able to determine who you talk to... would it be people closest to you? but that couldnt work if nothing is going to be downloaded there willstil only be the 4 rooms and you coudnt sleect who you are tallking to

They will update PictoChat. It's supposedly going to be called PictoTalk.

sweet... cant wait for that to happen....erm...i have a wireless broadband connection so it doesnt bother me... but how are thery going to make the ds intenrety for people who are.. for example.. traveling in a train or something?

With the DS having a built-in mic they've got to have that sort of thing.
