lol, I've read that and I love how you broke it down. Very balanced.

I think it sold great at those stores that offered a pre-order but flopped at the big box retailers. With 1 million available at launch, it undersold but still had solid numbers overall.
The current US government is the type of government the founding fathers fought against and warned us about.

America, the Dr. will free you now.

    What were the final numbers?

  4. the Walmart by my house still is holding alot of PSP hardware but all the EBgames and GameStops have none.

    'tis is true.
THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY ADDICTIVE ABOUT THE WII

its because sony decided to give the variety stores alot more than the actual game stores. My gamestore got 7 while target and best buy got a shitload

  6. In two years, I'll be replaying FF:CC and lots of other great RPGs

The way it seems is that gamestores only got the amount they put in for preorders, while they just threw a ton at the bigmarkets (cause they know more people would pass it buy there than at a gamestore).

I just wanna know how many were sold in total. Was there ever an official launch number released?

  8. Why don't we have a publication like Famitsu that releases the launch numbers every week or two?

I'd like to know how the PSP did because around here everyone wants them... but no one can get them. And it isn't because they aren't available, but because it's too big of an investment. Meanwhile, the people who wanted the DS got it on launch day. Most of them (like myself) just got the system with Metroid, and didn't buy a game for another week or two.

I know one person with a PSP and 5 with a DS. I hope sony's selling in other places better than it is here.

I so wish PSP's were like...$100 then I would totally get one. Anywho what are the overall sales as of now worldwide for both DS and PSP?
