DS = PC Pocket?

Am I the only one that think the DS was made to unite console and PC gaming? I mean, the Touch Screen is the perfect substitue for a mose/keyboard. So it's a dream come true for All sort of PC games. I mean, I wouldn't be suprised if I see more FPS, PC style puzzles, and even Traditional style dating sims ("True Love DS anyone? If you heard of it?).

To really use the DS for innovative styles of playing, you have to have a big immagination (Or e Sega). But it seems that the DS is a PC developer's dream come true. This was prolly already stated, but I just have to get it off my mind...

well it could be pretty rad if there was some kind of chip, to be connected into a gba cart maybee... which allows you to download and play flash flash games...
might be impossable.. what with the different input controlls.. but there might be a way...think bout that tho.. you would have an infinite number of minigames at your disposal...

What excites me most is the possibility of having strategy games like Command & Conquer to begin thriving on the handheld, those type of games have always been better on a PC and therefor not had such a big sales potential in the console marked, maybe this will change now.

I can already feel it in my fingers, dragging my stylus vertically over the screen to create a commando box over my units before tabing the screen where I want them to go, gah!
