man I like Resident Evil, It created the survival horror genre, very creative franshise. The only thing is, is that I really suck at them, the only one I have beaten is Code Veronica on Dreamcast. I know that the whole controller schem started because the first one was on the playstaion and 3d control was'nt as anvanced as it is now. I think the games would be so much more enjoyable and playable for me at least if you could move the character the direction you want to go instaed of always moving forward to go forward. They dont have to do that any more, or at least have a control option you can change between. I mean I have always rated Resedent evil games in graphics 10, story 10, characters 10, sound, 10, control 1 point. They are really DAMN HARD. Any one feel like I do.

RE2 on N64 had an option to change to 2nd person control (up being up, ect).

hey Kindred why does it bother you so bad that I just am maybe not good at the controls like you. So what that you can do it and kick ass at it, does'nt mean you should call me a pussy dude, I have no doubt in my mind it doesn't work I just dont see why Capcom can't make the controls in a regular motion. I just feels awkward. Thats what makes Resident Evil hard. THE CONTROLS, not the game play, I love hard and difficult games, but making the game hard because you cant move like a real person does is a stupid a cheap way to make a game challanging. they only think I wish is that you were right here right now so I can tell you to call me a Pussy to my face. cause if you did I would knock the fuck out of you. I hate people who talk shit to people on a computer where there safe and sound, and can;t get a fist in the face. You piss me off with your whole attitide and you really put me in a mad mood. It's okay to knock down someones opions, I dont but people do, but when someone starts talking smack about someone, namecalling and crap over the coputer about there opions, that is childish and stupid. i have never done that to anyone on these forums and never plan to, but for right now I will make an exception to you, don't ever talk to me like that. Uhm... Name-calling and threatening are basically the same thing on forums, man. You're not 'saying that to his face' either, you're probably just making an empty textual threat. I can understand why you're angry, since I don't see how being a pussy has anything to do with controls, but doing the same thing certaintly doesn't remedy the situation.

I think I'm a bigger pussy for not playing RE because it freaks me out than Pigobenus is for disliking the controls, eh?

I'm 16. See, the story I didn't tell you is that my cousin was visiting from down south. We rented RE and played it all day and night until about 4AM or so. We got tired and I went to sleep on the couch and he had a sleeping bag or something. Little did my young, innocent self know that playing RE was part of his evil scheme.

In the middle of the night I started to hear a zombie-like moan. I figured 'Oh, he's just snoring..." The moaning got louder. I just curled under the covers and closed my eyes. Then, suddenly, the moaning was right next to my face.

My cousin, being the funny funny kid that he is, had bought a zombie mask at Party City and decided it would be FUNNY FUNNY to scare young, innocent Lou with his FUNNY joke. In hindsight it was, actually, pretty funny, but for about 2 months I was pretty fucking freaked out.

After that, I never touched an RE game because of 1% fear and 99% lack of interest. There are enough horrible, sick, nasty things in the real world to be afraid of than to buy a video game and take in even more. Maybe I'm just a 'pussy.' Whatever.

i love being scared, thats why i got resident evil and people that say they havnt been scared in RE, thats bullshit i know some parts arnt scary but damn when you are alone at 12:00 with the creepy music and enemies, you will shit your pants....for example in Resident Evil 2 when you enter the place where you have to fight the black zombie cop that you met in the beginning when you enter the door, CREEPY ASS music is on and you get that scared feeling and then ya know....hahahah.....ah!!!
