Now Playing "Nintendo Hype CD"

Today was a good day for Nintendo.

My school is full of Nintendo haters, but they really didn't know any of the AAA titles that will appear on the system. It started off small, I was just making a cd for one of my friends that can stream Video's on the internet. I always have 15 movies on my desktop at all times, and with the Ds coming, I figured why not show him some of that stuff too. He also wanted to see some Rpg's, so I got acouple of Tales, and Baten Vids. With about 30 Metriod Vids that show multi-player, dark samus, the space feds...something just to show him all the new things in the game. I also put hunters on the thing, why not he really wanted the Ds. The final trailers I put Re4, 3 long trailers and the short on when he gets his head cut off. Then I loaded it with screenshots.

I proceeded to play the first vid with his head geting cut off. I put it on my computer, and it was loud, way to loud, and people looked at my moniter and noticed that his head just fall to the ground, at that point it was over. Too many people crouded over, so I put it on the projecter for everyone to see. In the end more half of them said it's time to get a cube. But someone that didn't like the Ds decided to say how the psp would be better, better graphics, I just smiled and played the E3 Metriod hunters vid...they were in aw. I didn't even have to say anything, except...Ds graphics...then I was talked about how they pissed me off without telling the price, and battery life and what not...don't worry Nights, I told them about the memory stick thing too...they said it was crap...

So basiclly I told them that I would beef up my Cd somemore, and when the games actually came out. To top it off, I told them the retail price of the Ds, and I didn't have to mention the shortcomings of the system, but I pointed out the Thumbstrap, that some games will play with, and there might be a bay, like with the gba, to increase power, and probably have a analog stick. I even mentioned the phone channel that it has, and that nintendo was just waiting for a provider. The last final thing I mentioned was the whole warppipe thing, and said that it might not be exactly what I think it is, but there's still a chance of it being biggest thing to happen to the industry for a while. Of course I said the launch titles, and every else about the Ds during the conversation, but I also had the offical 124 list, and a list of about 5 games rumored.

Everything when over extremely well, today was a good day for nintendo.

Thanks, I did it for 4 periods...and each period is 40 min...I was having fun too...I don't know why, but I was.

i wish people at my school would do that. Nearly all my xbox friends it no matter what i say since they are close minded. I guess i should give them all hype dvds too. Thats great though. It just goes to show that once people open their eyes, they will see how great nintendo still is.

Hey tooHuman... do you have like a copy of that CD you could put online or something. There are a couple of Xbox boners... I mean fanboys, i'd like to convince

Well, the Cd is kinda hard to load to you directly...but I can try on Aim.

You can make an image of the CD... do you know how to do that? I'd be interested in watching it, since I'm too lazy to download tons of videos.

im an "xboxer-ish" guy but i like nintendo. I still belive they have the best 1st party games (for the most part, not like mario pinball or anything) in fact, some ppl at my skool were actually gettin into ds when i was telling about it to them last week.

^That cool, I didn't make the cd to combat the forces of Ps2 fanboyism, or Xbox fanboyism or anything, but people just don't know about these games. It was for my friend originally, but now I found a menu creater...I'm playing with it right now really.

It's really not that much better on this site. A lot of people won't even give the PS2 or XBox much of a second look. If you ask me, a lot of those people in your school are no better than some people on this board.

lol...i always play the MPH and SM64DS videos in my webdesign class and there WAS one(yes...only ONE) PSP fanboy in my webdesign class and when i told him the price and battery life of the PSP...he doesnt want one anymore ^_^
