it was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and i still have a whole lot of money. i have about $400 and im saving that for a DS, but i dont know whether or not i should dip into it for a wavebird. i can easily get more money by the time the DS comes out, so that wont be a problem, but i dont know whether or not a wavebird is worth it. i have 2 brothers, both of whom play alot of gamecube with me, but i only have 2 controllers. im also thinking of getting a sibscription to a magazine. i was gonna get edge but it was over $200, so fuck that. the controller is looking extra good, cause that way i can have a 2 on 1 with my brothers and own them at ssbm.
what do u all think? any more suggestions for what i can spend my money on? (keeping in mind that im saving for the DS, so nothing stupid)
ok...why dont you just ask your parent(s) for a DS for XMAS...and spend your money on...whatever the fuck you want!
Buy a Discount Card at Game Crazy that way you get more stuff.
yeah.
spend the money on wavebirds and ask for the DS for xmas.
that is what im gonna do![]()
THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY ADDICTIVE ABOUT THE WII![]()
2 wavebirds, PS2, Burnout 3
Ask for the DS for Christmas.
The Cav: dwhittenempire, goku2057, milly, zac, alias, colin™, spatula, mysterio, nathan, c.j., resident darkness
Xbox and Burnout 3....Not a PS2!
I AM IGNORANT BECAUSE I LIKE BASKETBALL
well, i shouldve said, im in australia. so the DS doesnt come out to next year. and even if it did my dad has already said that im not allowed one. but he says that for everything cause i spend too much money on games. so i have to save alot of money for the DS.
is the wavebird worth it tho? and theres no way i would get a ps2. but ill probly get an xbox later second hand, but theres too many things for nintendo that i want.
Get WWE day of reckoning and a wavebird then save the rest for your DS.
Get Tales of Symphonia.
NOW
A controller is never a bad idea... considering you need them to play and you only have two. However, ther are many great games coming out this winter that you might want to also consider saving for... you know ....like: Paper Mario, Mario Tennis, Metroid Prime 2, Baiten Kaitos, and much much more including Resi 4 in January. Plus you have to have enough for at least one or two DS games if your going to be getting a DS. Talk about a tough holiday season for a gamers wallet. (considering I am also getting more than just Nintendo games... ::sigh::.)
well, i want metroid prime 2. so ill probly get that. and mario tennis looks amazing, but ive never liked tennis, but i seem to recall mario tennis being fun. is the one on 64 good even if u dont like tennis?ill probly get these 2 games and a wavebird, and then the DS. but by the time the DS comes out il have enough money to buy all the games i want. which so far is about 20million. teh fark.
I suggest a controller (whatever type you want) and Metroid Prime 2. Then save the rest for the DS.
does anyone know how long the the wavebird lasts for? it uses battery right?
it your money friend, use it for some victoria's secret for your girlfriend, believe me, it will last longer than your healthy life.
Bounty Hunter of the Nintendonow
maybe later... but this money is for nintendo stuff.
you know I am joking right?
Bounty Hunter of the Nintendonow
Just do what you said you wanted to do.
ok. basically wat i wanna know is:
1) is the wavebird worth the money. from wat ive heard so far, the answer is yes.
and
2) is mario tennis a good game / fun to someone who doesnt like tennis?
you`re 17, aand you give a shit that your dad says you cant have a DS?Originally Posted by thecube_128
good nintendo stuff eh? hm......... a gameboy. thats about all i can think of.![]()
dont waste your money on a tennis game, just go outside and hit a ball against a wall, cheaper and more fulfilling.

my dad said that i wasnt allowed a gba. he said he would saw it in half if i got one. now i have 2 gba's and 2 gba sp's and he still thinks that i wont get a DS. i dont think he realises that i spend my money on nintendo stuff and the occasional dvd/movie.Originally Posted by shadowrunner
