I love that guy. I think he may of eaten Lewis Black though.

I like him, he's like an id screaming for decent games. And pizza rolls. JUUUUST GIVE ME DECENT F***ING GAAAAAAMES!!!!! ON DECENT F***ING HARDWARE!!!!

I like that. I think these conferences would go better if we had core gamers with baseball bats at the side of the stage waiting...

nah..,it would have been more funny for 1) If he didn't use so much cursing, that style is really getting old IMO, as gamers grow up, I think more and more people will find it annoying and "cheap n easy humor" so to speak.

    2) if E3 actually sucked as much as he claims...The press conferences weren't the greatest, but combined with the show floor trailers and gameplay segments, then with followup interviews, E3 turned out pretty great.

IMO, a fair and accurate summary of E3 is, "hey, that was actually awesome"...I think because of the big 3 conferences, it got off to a slow start. But, what this industry is all about, games, there were really a lot of them that felt interesting. Sony still has new original titles coming out for PS3 guaranteeing it at least another strong year, MS may not have shown a lot, but Halo 4 does look like a proper rebirth of the series, interesting themes and designs, and overall just looked cool. Even Nintendo's show floor was a lot better than it's actual conference, with the tablet basically being a kind of DS in your hands. Titles like Wario Ware, Rayman, and Pikmin all look like new concepts and fun titles.

So combined the show floor and interviews, ( I mean Sony even addressed the "no Vita" vibe at there conference) the good stuff take from the conferences, and some of the goals for next gen (Star Wars 1313, FF Demo, Ubi trailer) and it was an impressive E3, especially considered it's the final days of these console's life but still too early for the nextgen to debut.

PSN is still putting out some new stuff, a Journey collection edition implies some new content, Unfinished Swan, Sound Shapes, Gwaculomeela (whatever's its called) etc...all make me really not care about "Durango" and "Orbis" I'm perfectly happy with my PS3 this year, well into next year, and with the huge back catalog of games, I still won't want PS4 even in 2015 tbh. So E3 has reassured me that I don't need to get a new console for another 2-2.5 years, the platform that I chose is a company dedicated to gamers, and the industry's assessment of what next-gen will look like is friggin awesome!

“Had the religion of Christianity been preserved according to the ordinances of the Founder, the state and commonwealth of Christendom would have been far more united and happy than they are. Nor can there be a greater proof of its decadence than the fact that the nearer people are to the Church, the head of their religion, the less religious are they.”

But it was a parody. He has his actual views in a different video. This wasn't meant to be rational or well thought, it was purposefully obtuse.

Sir, fat americans dropping f bombs is a tradition as old as thanksgiving. And man if you don't like swearing, gonna really hate the next year of gaming, and especially Last of Us.

    Still think...

Big list of games I wanted to know more about, still know nothing. One surprise which was Watch Dogs. Aww well, TGS! Next E3! GDC!

It's not parody it's stages of grief, first comes disappointment, then rage, then acceptance.

Watching the Non Francis one, guys a huge (no pun intended) Playstation fan. You can tell because he likes that PS All Stars rubbish, doesn't like Halo and complains about the $50 360 tax. The classic signs.

I pretty much had the same line of thinking even though I know francis is crazy.
☑ First they ignore you (Pre-2007)
☑ Then they laugh at you (2007-2008)
☑ Then they fight you (2008-2010)
☑ Then they copy you (2011-2012)
    ☐ Then you win...

There was good stuff at E3. Halo 4 didn't disappoint, there's a new game in town which is slagging off Bungie now. Going to be interesting that Halo 4 is going up against Blops2, I have a feeling Blops2 will come off worse on 360. That Halo 4 ain't a game son, it's a lifestyle. That was pleasant. Huge buzz about Halo 4, blops2 making people yawn.

Watch Dogs, genuine surprise. What the hell happened to Cyber Punk? That craze died too soon, what did we get, that Cdi title Burn Cycle? Watch Dogs some serious Cyber Punk cool... Mind you... So is Deus Ex Human Revolution.

Wii U surprised me by being actually worse than I though it would be. I was thinking "Bleugh, just running last years games at 1080p, but at least that controller is unique...." Think again. Under specced and under gimmicked.

But for disappointment this is a record E3. Vita left out in the snow to die. Sine Mora only Vita game I'm buying in the next 8 months. What a disaster. All those games like Agent and Last Guardian sent to rock PS3s in their box... Nowhere to be seen.

Matt and Trey were cool. Finally the mythical good South Park game now that every bugger has finally made a good Dragon game. Meuh.

Funny thing is... it isn't even "last gen games at 1080P"... it's "last gen games at 720P and a tablet". Not what I though would happen. Ok, they are still in their first revision of games, so there's still hope that next years games will look notably better, but... as it stands now... it's very underwhelming, even for me, who said that WiiU won't blow your minds.

Yeah I was defending Wii U on another forum, yes I know I should do something more productive with my time. Only one on the forum who didn't hate on Wii U. "But but but there's a point to it, you can play the multi platform games that come out at 1080p". Nope. Not powerful enough to do it. Some pretty cheap PCs can do that with cheap ass graphics cards and CPUs. What a car wreck, they must of let Lindsay Lohan drive.

Obviously it's been a few days and the disappointment has turned to calm reflection. Obviously I'd like Pikmin 3, graphically doesn't look better than the best of 360/PS3 games though. Halo 4 looks better. I like Halo 4.

That Mario game on Wii U got owned by Rayman Legends like a little bitch, although by all accounts ZombieU is a dud, one dud Ubi showed at their show, Ubi are good at exclusive Wii duds. Nintendo aren't trying very hard. Bringing out Wii U with Pikmin 3 as their showcase title is worse than bringing out Gamecube with Luigi's Mansion. Pathetic.

Do I buy a Wii U on launch for Rayman Legends and Pikmin 3 knowing it's going to gather dust for a year, just in time for the real next gen to come along. I don't think so. In two years after the launch when you're unwrapping your PS4 and XBox Next they'll bring out a Zelda with 1.5x 360 graphics. Guess that might be the time, at least they won't force you to wave your arms around in a frickin' RPG.

Meantime I get my mind blown by a game not even at the show. We get Max Payne 3 here a week late, plays like a sack of s**t but dat engine! GTAV is going to rock so hard on PC. Counting down the days, going to hit the shops at 9am. Going to be game of the year... The decade! On PC though.

Thing is nobody is going to believe Nintendo gave a demonstration of a real next gen system, Epic did that with their Unreal 4 demo. That boss PC running Unreal Engine 4, in a consumer box by 2014, then the next gen has arrived.

Copying this from neogaf, bunch of floor demos
    Gameplay From Show Floor:

    Retro City Rampage
    Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
    Playstation All-Stars
    Sly Cooper (Second Gameplay Clip)
    Sunflowers
    Super Monkey Ball
    Jet Set Radio
    Frobisher Says
    Sine Mora
    Snapshot
    Orgarhythm
    Metal Gear HD Collection
    Hatsune Miku
    Foosball (Vita's full potential achieved)
    PS One Classics
    Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes
    Little Kings Story
Vita was not represented at Sony's press conference, but there were a good number of titles on the show floor, as well as the announcement that 60 games will come to Vita this year. That more than likely means Sony's fiscal year ending March 2013, but that's a very specific number to be throwing out there without the development to back it up. Not to forget games that were already announced that look very promising like Gravity Rush, Sound Shapes, and Soul Sacrifice. TGS is a more likely candidate for any announcements regarding big third party games from Capcom, SE, or Level 5

On the video, I don't care about traditions or what people call acceptable, it's cheap silly humor and cursing is just an ignorant and childish way of using adjectives to get your point across. Parody or not, it wasn't funny, it was completely inarticulate and inaccurate, and IMO, it's fans like these that make Sony/Nintendo/MS not care about forum goers in the first place. No matter what they do, there's always some stupid joke/vids making fun of every conference all in the name of "light humor"

Even MS, there conference absolutely sucked, but Halo 4 looked awesome, even better than anything Bungie has did in the past couple years. Graphically and aesthetically superior. If there's nothing else to talk about, talk about that...

That's not a very impressive line up. Can't be slagging Nintendo for bringing out ports of last years games when Vita has... Jet Set Radio!?!? Oddworld!?! Old Metal Gear games!?!? PS1 titles!?! Oh boy...

But Vita isn't a console that is to be released later this year, It's already out and has had a fair share of releases when it was launched. And not a whole lot was games we already had for a year. Not even sure if any were direct ports at all (didn't follow Vitas launch all that much).

With Nintendo... they made a HUGE deal out of getting Batman. That ISN'T a huge deal, though. Wii should've been able to do that, but Nintendo deal their cards differently. Now their new console comes out and gives us the same shit again. That's not impressive at all.

@Segitz ; made a good point in reply to this. But it should also be stated that Vita has a decent number of new titles that weren't even really showcased. Gravity Rush, Silent Hill, Sound Shapes and Soul Sacrifice all look to be garnering critical acclaim and a really good portable experiences. Sony could do more of course, but I think the big titles from 3rd parties aren't really there yet. Level 5, Capcom, and SE have yet to show there stuff on Vita, and I think that's what's missing. Vita even released with a few new titles like Mutant Blob (which is stated by the devs to be the definitive experience) Escape plan, and MotorStorm RC. Little King Story is also a title very much liked on Nintendo's platforms, great addition to Vita.

However, TGS is a far more likely event to focus on Vita...even though Sony certainly could have done more.

Nintendo will always use Nintendo franchises, I think it's simply the fact that it doesn't look like that Zelda demo and it's very comparable to stuff we've seen on PS3/X360 that made forums dismiss the platform somewhat. rehashes are fine by me as long as the gameplay changes and offers something new, and when was the last time an officially branded new Mario game played alike? Nintendo always re-invents the wheels with that flagship title. (Super Mario World, Mario 64, Paper Mario, Mario Galaxy etc..)

Wii-U hardware wise didn't impress as much, and Nintendo not have NEW 3rd party games. Batman just came out and there were acting like it was something awesome
