Times, E3 may pick up stakes and relocate next year if issues aren't resolved with a proposed renovation to the Los Angeles Convention Center. "We're still in discussions with the city of Los Angeles," ESA chief Mike Gallagher told the publication, "but we have a number of issues that still need to be resolved. If we can't resolve them, we are preparing to go elsewhere."
The ESA has previously balked at renewing its contract with the LACC because of the planned construction of Farmer's Field, a stadium that would be housed where the convention center's West Hall currently sits. Among other issues, the ESA is worried about access to the convention center's show floor during construction.
The ESA didn't comment, but "executives close to the association" reportedly pointed to San Francisco, New York, Chicago and New Orleans as possible new homes for the gaming industry's biggest event.

It'd likely be SF or another west coast city, most studios are out west and flights from Japan are quicker and cheaper than flying across the US.
