Running on 'high-end PC'. Looks like Next-gen devices will match high-end PCs. Game looked fantastic.
Running on high-end PC
Looks good. Wonder if it's going to be like uncharted where it's got a big focus on story or more shooter. That opening part with the ship reminded me of uncharted 2 and the train.
Apparently, this link says that Star Wars 1313 uses the UE3 engine. I'm skeptical, but this news is pretty surprising if true:
http://www.product-reviews.net/2012/...ngine-3-not-4/
I can't imagine what the UE4 engine is truly capable of producing if this news is true?
Edit: So apparently it is using the modified UE3.9 engine the Samaritan demo was using. The UE3.9 updates can't run on current gen consoles and are aimed at Next-Gen. It seems that we might see alot of UE3.9 games for next-gen. I'm starting to think that UE4 truly is aimed beyond the next generation of systems and might not see much use outside of Epic until later in the next generation console cycle.

So they took out force powers and lightsabers and turned it into an Uncharted like cover shooter. It doesnt sound like a Star Wars. Just another pretty turd with an identity crisis from Lucas Arts.
Why does everything always seem to revolve around Uncharted? There were third person action games with high-octane action and cover systems before there ever was an Uncharted.

The media who played the game behind closed doors describe the shooting, cover, animation, platforming and set pieces as Uncharted like. Take up your issues about Sony i mean Uncharted the game that revolutionized the third person action adventure game with them o_O
I don't care what the media did or said lol. In this industry, everything they say is opinionated.
I have zero issues with Sony, but Uncharted is not the be-all-end-all of video games. And constantly comparing games because they happen to have some certain feature is futile. "It has realistic animations? Blasphemy! It's copying Uncharted!" God forbid a game to have realistic animations since the technology is completely capable of it now. To me, there's a difference between software innovation/revolutionary qualities and hardware advancements. Of course a game is going to have realistic animations and all that if the hardware now supports it. Every game is going to have such a feature. Personally, that's just taking an already existing thing and just slapping a little more glitter on there, I wouldn't really call it innovation or revolutionary. But that's just me.
I could easily say, "Uncharted has the shooting, basic storyline, combat, animations, platforming, and set pieces of Tomb Raider" couldn't I?
"It's Tomb Raider with modern graphics and animation capabilities."
But folks probably wouldn't like if I said that, right? It's okay for people to call this an Uncharted clone in a Star Wars setting, but it's not okay for me to call Uncharted a Tomb Raider clone with a male character? Got it! Understood.
Maybe I'm just hard to impress.

I'm just hoping this has a lot more to the gameplay than just the walking and shooting shown in that video. I'm not a fan on that Uncharted (sorry Crazybone) non-platforming, where it's more like quick-time events, slowed down, without the on-screen prompts. Just push the button within the time window and the game take care of the rest. No timing, no reflex, no aiming necessary.
Well if you guys watched the E3 interview, the developer said that Jedi are an extremely small part of Star Wars lore and there are actually only an extremely small amount in the entire galaxy (they may be the coolest characters..but just sayin lol). The dev also said that you as a bounty hunter will have technology that will probably give you abilities that act similar to force powers. We've also only seen an extremely small snippet of gameplay, so we don't know what locations well be going to or what enemy types and situations we'll encounter. They might have you actually hunt Jedi in the game.

I hope so. Star Wars deserves more than just cover shooting.

@Crazybone126 This article explains it better than i can.
Its the same with Gears of war and the third person cover system. Also yes everyone knows Lara and especially Indie inspired Uncharted.
