Console games also go down in price real quick over here ( Unless its a Nintendo published title or has Call of Duty on the box ) so thats not a good defence. Hell if anyone actually pays full price for console games these days they are mad. There is always a trade in discount, two for one or free gift voucher deal to be had somewhere. Its ridiculous that they can charge that despite not having any licensing fees and its even more ridiculous that they can charge you that and still have the balls to regulate the way you play it with DRM.
As I said "some games" are more expensive... most aren't. The avg MSRP of PC games here is about 50€, for console games it's 70€. The usual "price reductions before release" apply to all, anyhow.
Kept you waiting
Ohh... Hadn't thought of that. Viva the revolution and all that and I may have to watch this from the sidelines.
Obviously it's all about your cost per hour with games init. One you can finish in 6 hours and has zero replay value... That's $10 per hour. Bought Skyrim cheap for about $30, gonna put 120 hours into it at least, that's $0.25 per hour.

West and Zampella talk about the lawsuit
Vince Zampella: They say that Modern Warfare 3 would have been a much better game and would have made 700 million more dollars for them and they want us to pay that.
West: We deprived them of our services by being fired and therefore we owe them money.
Case has been settled, details not known yet. They were looking for a billion dollars out of this.

Was hoping this would go to court but I doubted Activision would have wanted to take it that far.
First footage from Respawn offices
Activision response:
The company does not believe that the incremental one-time charges related to the settlement will result in a material impact on its GAAP or non-GAAP earnings per share outlook for the current quarter or the calendar year, due to stronger-than-expected operating performance in the current quarter."
