PS3 wireless 7.1 stereo headset

I've been considering picking this up since i mostly play late night these days and sound can be an issue. Anyways i was wondering does anyone have this? If so is it any good or have you experienced any problems? Basically im asking if there is any reason like maybe a better product on the market or some other reason i shouldnt purchase this? I have it and I like it quite a bit. There are others like the Astro's but the price difference is insane and these work just fine and are good quality for the price.

ive been using one acid since they came out (ordered mine from canada) i have the volume low & on 7.1 on ps3 when using it & i can get about 7hrs straight out of it i highly recomend it mate. its not a BASS machine though but its good for 100 bucks you cant go wrong lol

i should also add i use it for PC (rFactor) and it sounds excellent even in stereo as it only does stereo on PC but the V8 supercars sound superb. im thinking of getting a second pair one for PS3 & another for PC.

Great! The sound is amazing. The difference between playing Max Payne 3 on telly or with the headset is night and day.

Been toying with the idea of getting them. Built in mic and PC compatibility sealed the deal. Headset + Dark Souls is going to take me to another world

Also will be giving Uncharted 3 a try and watching movies at night (which is my usual routine) should become less hassle. And PC usage essential as when I hook my laptop to TV to game, I shut the lid....And the lid is where the mic is. So being able to comm on PC finally is good.

Hopefully arrives for the Xmas break.

Tempting, but I will be picking up the Astro A50's, otherwise I'd get these.

@masteratt They are great. Have a better build than the first official headset and the bass impact is superb. It even has presets for different genres. Bass impact for FPS, Racers, movies, music etc. Just tap a button and a sexy voice tells you what mode you are on. Unfortunately with Vita you need to connent by wire but it isn't much of an issue because you are always holding it up close anyway.
