lots of Vita games and games we've already seen. LBPKarting create mode; GOWA singleplayer; TLOU gameplay... the show will then turn to cloud and the purchase/deal with a cloud company. the big thing will be playing ANY PS3 game on the go through the Vita using the cloud. and the last game to be shown will be Cages masterpiece.
I cant wait to finally see Infraworld. That, TLOU and maybe a Sucker Punch game will be more than enough. Some hreat new Vita games and anything on TLG will be icing on the cake.

Shouldn't this be closed or merged with the other thread?
Wow I thought this was the one at E3 board (I navigate via New Posts).
Guys please realise we have a general Video Game section for all things Multi-platform and an E3 board (posts/ threads will be sorted into their appropriate sections after the E3 dust settles).
If you have the site bookmarked at the PS3 section please update your bookmark to general Video Game section or the forum root. Keeping everything in the PS3 section helps no-one
Thread merged into the appropriate E3 one.

With e3 around the corner i took it upon myself to look up some patents they recently put up: (images can only be seen on windows pc's for some reason they use tiff images and mac doesn't read tiff anymore...)
This is the search i did on sony computer entertainment: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-P...FIELD2=&d=PTXT
Keyboard of some sorts attached to your ps3 controler: http://patimg2.uspto.gov/.piw?docid=...ainment%252522

We might have 1 person covering the Nintendo conferences this year but that will be the extent of it for live, hands on coverage. The ESA, which controls E3 registration, changed the way they allocate the number of media registrants per media outlet a few years ago. The stat tracking firms they use had also changed the way they tracked web sites. Unfortunately, for over 3 years those site were under the impression that E-mpire.com didn't even exist anymore because we didn't have their tracking code embedded in our server. So as far as the ESA was concerned, we no longer existed and didn't meet their traffic requirements to send a large team anymore.
We can now send 1 or 2 people but it's not economically feasible to send a small team. It works best in teams of 4 so they can share a hotel room. A 5 day stay at an LA motel close to the convention can cost well over $1,000 (hotels can be much higher). Include the ~$600 airfare and you can see why it becomes a very expensive event to attend. So if we can't send a large group it's not worth it to send just 1 or 2.
Even the 1 conference we might cover is coincidental. He will happen to be in LA on business next week. We were even lucky enough that Nintendo granted us access at the last minute (we requested it and was granted it just this week). But he won't have time to cover the show floor nor would the ESA grant him a media badge anyway since he doesn't have any published articles in the past 6 months (must have at least 2 published articles within 6 months of E3).
make him publish 2 right now lol... Kinda sucks though. We'll make due with what we got. Hopefully next year we'll get more people to go for a bigger unveil of the next gen consoles.

I see that Spike TV isn't showing the Sony conference this year. They say it's because they couldn't work out a deal... I agree with some people who say it's a strategic move on Microsofts part. Spike is owned by Viacom and Viacom is a partner with Microsoft
Yea, this is nothing, GTTV has revealed more PS3 exclusives the past several years then any other place except for E3.
this appeared on the official playstation site. looks like PS+ is going to be a major part of the conference and with that 'never stop playing' also there...

Yes, there have been several rumors
^^ making some believe only current subscribers will get what they are announcing.By the way, if you don't have a PS+ subscription, now is the time to get one. For real. Just get 3 months if you aren't sure. Trust me.

Sony prepping PlayStation Plus revamp with top tier free games, expansion to Vita
http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/e3-20...presser/097264Quantic Dream’s next game after Heavy Rain will be called Beyond, MCV understands.
It is expected that studio boss David Cage will take to the stage at Sony’s E3 press event tomorrow morning (2am UK time) to debut the title, US publishing sources have told MCV.
As with Heavy Rain, it will be narrative based and use motion-captured actors to give a sense of real-world immersion. What we also know is that the game will be a Sony exclusive.
A German retailer has listed Diablo 3 for release on PS3.
Possible first screen shots of Beyond
