PlayStation Vita Soul Sacrifice to receive three free DLC packs. Featuring a total of six new bosses and 24 missions.
It just gets better and better. Day one for all of this. This is going to sound controversial because of those reviews but this is my game of the year so far. It is very rare that i get addicted to a game so much that i clock six to seven hours a day. I love this game. Best thing to come out of Japan in a long long time for me. Add a free roaming world and better sub enemy variety and the sequel would be perfect.Boss-hunting Vita-exclusive Soul Sacrifice will receive three free pieces of DLC, Sony has announced.
The DLC, detailed by CinemaBlend, was revealed in an e-mail to random PSN users who received the free gift of the Spirits' Falconfeather, a teleporting item. Furthermore, the expansions were later advertised in a poster at GameStop.
The first bit of DLC will be the Headless Knights and Starving Ruin Dwellers pack, due on 28th May. It will include the two titular new bosses, new Berserker magic, eight new missions, and some kind of augmented reality support.
Next up on 11th June is the A Drunk and a Chef pack, adding yet another two bosses and eight new missions.
Finally, the Wild Wheels and Apparition pack will be available on 25th June, featuring - you guessed it - two more bosses and eight new missions.
Judging by the promotional image below, it appears that there will be seven more bosses in addition to the six detailed already. Ostensibly these will be paid DLC, but six new bosses, 24 missions and some new powers aren't bad for free.
I have the game now acid, haven't gotten far enough to unlock multiplayer though i don't think.
Finish up that first Sortiara chapter and multiplayer will unlock. That is where the fun really starts. Ironically that's also the part that most of the reviewers didn't bother with *sigh*
Let me know if you need some starter tips to get legendary sorcerer ranks.
Are you going for a Divinity, Chaos or neutral character build?
Oh and semi decent lore and storytelling to come out of Japan? Who woulda thunk it![]()

Without knowing what any of the builds do I am choosing divine. Am at like 6/1 right now.
Basically if you keep saving instead of sacrificing then you are going the divine route which = better defense. Sacrificing = better attack. Neutral is a combo of both obviously. It plays in to the type of spells and sigils you equip also. For example if you have a divinity build then you could use blood magic which drains your health but then you should stock up with healing spells. Why? Because blood magic does not cost you a casting point. You could spam it all you want and not have to take out/sacrifice grunts to rebuild your offerings. Then you only need to keep an eye on your health.
While for chaos builds stuff like shield magic, evasion magic and other spells make more sense. Don't worry though as you will soon start getting the hang of it. Hell there are still quite a few spells i haven't tried yet and i am almost maxed out level cap wise.
Damn! I just had to post this vid. This is arguably the hardest double boss battle in the game and this level 99 Divine gamer did it in about a minute with some inspired tactics. Fuck me that was good!

Free Soul Sacrifice DLC launches this week.
Hello everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying Soul Sacrifice. Tomorrow we’re releasing the first major update for Soul Sacrifice. Everything will be free, so don’t forget to update your game to version 1.10 from LiveArea and then visit PlayStation Store to download unlock keys for free!
New quests
Eight new quests will be added upon using the unlock key. To play the quests, go to Mad Chronicle > Inside Avalon > Avalon Pacts > Forgotten Pact > Hour of Amber (game progress required).
In these new quests, you will see two new boss characters called Dullahan and Behemoth and a new map called Caverns of Goliath.
About Dullahan
There was once a knight whose name was known the world over… But it was not his abilities that had made him famous. Indeed, he was viewed with curiosity, not respect. Many thought him downright unsettling; it was the way in which he did battle. While most warriors took pleasure in striking their enemies and avoiding their blows, this knight was the exact opposite. Apparently he would howl with joy whenever struck, and his face would twist with satisfaction…8864990458_cdb17dff8d.jpg
About Behemoth
In a quiet town, a young boy lived together with his parents. He had always had a big appetite, even since he was an infant. Above all, apples were his favourite. Any day he had an apple at hand was a happy day to him. And his parents, knowing this, had an easy time raising him.
Though they spoiled him in his infancy, there came a day when even his parents refused his demands for apples. The tantrum he threw was frightening. By that point, he was massively obese, easily weighing as much as three grown men. To say the thrashings of a boy that size were beyond his parents’ handling is an understatement…8864383907_395394d841.jpg
New map: Caverns of Goliath
You’re basically inside the body of a soldier who turned into a giant. The digestive fluid is always being secreted, so you constantly lose your HP just being there. The battle against Dullahan there will be quite challenging!
New Black Rite: Berserker
Download the free unlock key from PlayStation Store to add Berserker as your new Black Rite. Offer your brain to unleash its potential. The price for using this Black Rite will be to have redacted info on equipped Offerings. So you will not be able to see what Offerings you’ve set on each button.
This huge 1.10 update also adds support for posting stats to Twitter and Facebook, plus an addictive new AR mini-game!
The game that just keeps on giving.....Two new bosses and eight new quests next week for FREE!
