    Broken Age - Part 1 Jan 14

Double Fine wants to do adventure games but no publisher will help fund it so their calling out to gamers. Gamers, depending on how much is given will get a number of things. Video and more info at the link:
    http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...fine-adventure

Started a few hours ago and already has 100k, needs 400k in 33 days, shouldn't be a problem.

Okay, Tim Schafer. All you have to do is promise me that you will NEVER EVER EVER do another Kinect Sesame Street video game again.

No sure if you know him but Boris Schneider Johne has offer to do the German translation for free, he did all the old Lucasarts adventure games so German translation shouldn't be a problem.

That was a solid game loved by kids and parents (metacritic rank backs it up).
I know you probably said that jokingly but it's worth throwing out there anyway.

Looking forward to updates on the game now. Very cool how everyone came together over this and now free services being offered.

Any chance to make money off game sales as a translator/localizer? I do have acknowledged experience in software translation, I wouldn't mind making something for free :-P

How about you tweet Tim and find out. For a project like this, especially since it's directly from the pockets of the consumers, he should be willing to take anything.

Not a twitter user, and I don't think I would have too much time this year anyway. Surely they'll get plenty of pro Spanish translators given their loyal fan base.
