not sure why but it kind of seems like that...
I don't know if the model changed, it probably has but I personally didn't notice it. And I likened her even more to Ellen Page now with the way she speaks. Story and presentation etc will do a great job of making me care but her being like Ellen Page is more of an incentive for me, as I think Ellen Page is awesome.

Yep, it looks fantastic, though I'm not gonna watch any game-play for Spoilers, like I did for Uncharted3.

FANTASTIC GRAPHICS. OMG what 'PS4' will do, OMG. If PS3 do this.

Cutscenes != "in-game"... but Naughty Dogs (and Santa Monica) use of fmvs for cutscenes is VERY well done.

It's in-engine so not FMV either though.

I highly doubt that this is "real time rendered" on an actual PS3. In-engine means squat, if it cannot run for real and at an acceptable framerate. And I don't mean to disrespect anyone here, either, I love the Uncharted cutscenes, but they simply are streamed off disc, instead of rendered for real (like MGS4). And I highly doubt that Nuaghty Dog will simply change this methodology now.

The stuff might even run on a real console and is just fmv'd for convenience (i.e. shorter loading times etc), but I doubt that, too. You can often see slight differences with stuff that simply isn't possible (i.e. God of War 3 intro where the "clouds" envelop the mountain... the cloud rendering isn't possible in real time, at least not on consoles). There's similar stuff in Uncharted 1-3, too...

Na, I want to see gameplay (i.e. on stage, like with the ship level last year). Trailers "fake" too much, in my opinion.

As much as I like the graphical fidelity provided by pre-rendering the cutscenes, I rather like the in-engine RE4/MGS4 way that a bonus costume remains in place throughout gameplay and cutscenes.

You don't eat pigs, we don't eat pigs,
It seems it's been that way forever.
So if you don't eat pigs and we don't eat pigs,
Why not not eat pigs together?

Me too, somehow I prefer real time to any other kind of prerendered, even if it means more work for the developers. MGS just has me spoiled.

By the way, if you shake the controller during MGS4's cutscenes, Snake's suit goes back to normal

  14. Those are probably devkits. I don't think those ever went Slim. Every time I catch a glimpse of one in BTS vids they are fat models.

That's what E3 is for At least I hope so, considering that I was thinking it would be a boring E3 year.

My god, if the difference between cutscenes and gameplay is the same as in Uncharted 3, just incredible.
Look at the mimic and the texture details, the mapping, the reflections. Gosh.

EDIT: And the other animations too, love how her hair isn't static while being pressed against the seat.
