You don't eat pigs, we don't eat pigs,
It seems it's been that way forever.
So if you don't eat pigs and we don't eat pigs,
Why not not eat pigs together?

    Hoo-rah!

I also echo not selling your PS3. Just seems like a shame. Even if you end up rarely playing it... you already have it, why not keep it for when something lovely comes along?

I, along with other people, don't really get comparisons between multiplat games... overall.... they are really basically the same unless you are nitpicking. The only reason I get all multiplat's on Xbox is because my friends game on Xbox and it's just easier to hook up and play like that. Other than that, I guess I just never saw differences worth caring about between multiplat games between consoles. Meh.

Also, KRA, I feel like all your posts are haiku with the short lines and so when I read your posts in my head, they are read very dramatically. Just thought I'd share.

in my head everything is dramatic i suppose.
it just feels natural for me.
maybe it's ampliefied by my not so perfect english
i wouldn't ever noticed it but from time to time
    somebody is pointing it out
but this time strangely it doesn'y sound as something bad
    but i could be wrong.

    anyway masteratt
i also echo making a package
and just sending your ps3 far far away
    somewhere abroad
    maybe netherlands

    That was awesome!

One day KRA will recite Shakespeare for us.
☑ First they ignore you (Pre-2007)
☑ Then they laugh at you (2007-2008)
☑ Then they fight you (2008-2010)
☑ Then they copy you (2011-2012)
    ☐ Then you win...

  10. So, was digging around for some exclusives and found a [J]RPG "gold" mine. @AC!D or anyone else who has played these, which one is worth digging into:

    Lost Odyssey
    Tales Of Vesperia
Blue Dragon (remember this one being lame though I think)
    Infinite Undiscovery
    Eternal Sonata

Some have demos but jdging RPGs by demos seems like a bad idea. There were couple more actually I think but I forgot now. If anyone got feedback on any of those, lemme know.

PS: Kameo demo was very nice.

i was playing eternal sonata on my ps3
and i am not sure but as it was released later i think it can be improved version.
don't really remember much about it
just that its story was kind of crazy
it is about Chopin Polish composer and virtuoso pianist
and takes place in his fever dream
while he is dying in his bed?
i remember that it was fairly standard jrpg
something like ps2 jrpg in HD.
not bad but nothing that i would go crazy about.

Tales is awesome....Infine Undiscovery and Eternal Sonta are solid...the rest are crap...I could elaborate, but the beauty of RPG's is discovery...everything should be bargin bin though. I will warn you the latter two are kinda generic with ES having a bit of charm and music factor going for it. Kinda cool story too...I think I would play it on PS3 though, has more characters/features/improvements.

Only one really worth talking about is Tales though..Awesome stupid awesome combat system, and PS3 has the enhanced version in JAPANESE ONLY -_- pick that one up on the box asap before there like $100 on Amazon/Ebay.

The only one i recommend is the one i havent played. Tales of Vesperia which Diresu and D3adcell highly recommend. I havent been able to find a copy in my country but maybe ill pick it up on demand ( If they ever decide to put it up on our store in my country ) whenever i decide to get a new Xbox.

A lot of ppl like Lost Odyssey but i really didnt like how slow the battle system was. Also if you do get Lost Odyssey just watch out for the third and fourth disc. A lot of ppl including myself ran into disc read error problems. If i were you i would rather get The Last Story on Wii though coming out next month. Thats looking like a massive return to form for Sakaguchi ( The father of Final Fantasy ) when compared with his last two games Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey which in my opinion are poor. Thats assuming of course you do still have your Wii.

Anyways ive heard lots of praise for Tales so thats probably a sure bet. The Fable games are alright but they do hold your hand and are more adventure games than RPG. They might be worth a look see if you are into british humour and fantasy.

I loved Eternal Sonata. The difference on 360 vs PS3 was that on PS3 they had more costumes, 2 extra playable characters, and some extra level.

What I loved about it (not the horrible plot) was the combat system and how it evolved over time and always felt interesting. I would highly recommend it and brace yourself for the cheesiest plot ever.

Lost Odyssey is the only one I have put any serious amount of time into. The game's visuals and audio are top notch, but the gameplay is a bit dated and the loading times may kill you. However, I found the story to be interesting and a majority of the characters to be enjoyable. I'd recommend it over Blue Dragon aka "Baby's First JRPg.". (I can't say much more about LO right now since I'm at work.)

the Squeenix games are best to be avoided. They aren't really anything above average and tend to include odd game mechanics. Vesperia has the standard stuff: combat is fun, everything else is typic JRPG stuff. (and Grandia still plays better. Just sayin')
