OK. Full system. What is your budget maximum?

Depends on the time frame. Within 4-6 months... probably around $800.

OK, I can work together a pretty nice system for $800. Get back to me when you are ready for it and I'll put together the build list.

Viper, don't forget my PC by March

The AMD Radeon 7970 is going to be released soon, but maybe a more powerful one could be ready by March ? Like a 7990 ? And I want a very big screen. I'm ready to spend up to 4000 euro.

It's likely the 7990 will be available by then so long as TSMC has their 28 nm yields up.

And with 4k Euro to spend, you might be able to get 2 in CrossFire.

A dual GPU crossfire setup... quite insane^^ but whatever floats your boat. You will need an excessively good CPU to feed these beasts, though.
    Kept you waiting

I'd suggest nothing less than a Corsair, Seasonic or PC Power and Cooling (any of the Seasonic models specifically).

Yes. So give me the most powerful CPU, no problem.

I hope some great PC games will be available in the future, something which will really shine on my PC.

Need to make that a public wishlist, Dan. Or is it just empty?

Made a list for fun... didn't really look for prices and such, though... and keep in mind that I am not sure which SSDs are good and which aren't, as well as PSUs (took a Seasonic as Viper suggested). And I put 6990s into the mix, as the 7990s aren't listed yet.

In theory, you cannot build a faster PC currently, unless you will go with a server CPU... and those are exponentially more expensive.

What did you name the wish list build?

I checked your pdf. You have 2 CPU's listed but neither will work on that motherboard...wrong socket.

Here, I corrected my build but public wishlists aren't working for me. It was named dreamputer.

    That's better.

I'm waiting for HD 7xxx series and Ivy Bridge to launch fully before I make a build.

It mixed my computer build with one for him, and I didn't change/delete what I needed to.

I'm staying away from AMD. I'm an nVidia man through and through.

I read that the Radeon HD 7990 was Delayed because AMD cannot produce sufficient cooler for this card, and people are already talking about AMD Radeon HD 8970; anyway, Viper let me know when you will be able to build my monster PC, when all the best components will be available, to create the machine with this HD 7990 in mind.
    It would be really appreciated
