There's a patch to unlock LA Noire to 60 fps, as far as I know the main problem with that is the car physics go all sqirly. Yes sqirly is a word I just made up.

In honour of the love @:masteratt holds for R* and the giddying excitement of GTAV's release, I'm going to click "Like" on each of his posts.

Why? Because there are too few properly excited gamers on this board!

You don't eat pigs, we don't eat pigs,
It seems it's been that way forever.
So if you don't eat pigs and we don't eat pigs,
Why not not eat pigs together?

  3. To be honest I am more excited for Beyond than this (might change when we see more of this), but thank you! I sure do love games

Actually... I am not. As much as I liked HR, I really preferred GTA... it's just insane what you can do in that game. HR just has little replay value. Nice game, still. Considering I paid 8€ or something for the GTA collection, it's just insane^^

Put 50 hours into GTA4, 50 good hours. Didn't like HR at all sorry. Someone will probably give me s**t for that like I got because I didn't like those dull as dishwater Tomb Raider reboots. Pssst... They're not very good.

Still haven't finished the DLCs, better get a move on. DLCs > main game.

Currently playing: Everything God of War

  6. I easily got 200+ hours into GTA4 across all platforms it was released for, so value it beats HR. But HR for me was literally the perfect experience I was looking for. A game that gets me shaken up about firing a gun, is a game that got many things right. I understand it's a flawed gem for many though. But with Fahrenheit it was the same, and I loved that too....Say for the last 20 or so mins, which David admitted was a mistake that they tried to make it too "gamey" near the end, a mistake they didn't repeat in HR.

DLCs > Main game far as GTA4 indeed. I mean they do have that DLC feel but especially The Ballad Of Gay Tony is a big improvement over the core game. I gotta stick to my own rule and stop selling games. I want to get back to trophy whoring on GTA4 now but can't because I sold it ....To be fair to me I got YLOD with only like 3 stunts left to 100% so that really pissed me off.

You can't give it credit for that. It stole those controls from the first Resident Evil.

    Didn't they patch those?

  11. Just checked: MOVE configuration you use the analogue on the 'nunchuk' to walk but DS3 still only has one configuration (R2 to walk).

  12. Dear lord help me, I just bought SA on Xbox On Demand now.......Why dammit!? I already got it on PC with super high graphics and mods....*sigh*. I guess this is my 'sucker' franchise.

Oh well at least the game is awesome.

I want to be hyped like you, but I'm still anxious that V still won't offer enough gameplay features.
On the other hand, I cannot wait to see it, because the engine is extremely impressive.

  14. Completing Liberty City Stories on VITA actually made me think about SA. Good old 2nd generation GTA (1st gen was the 2D games).

I have the same worries as you for V. I hope they delve back into the RPG stuff they touched on in SA (the character stats) along with property buying / selling and all that stuff. I am not so fussed on minigames and what-not, as they to me get boring after two or three times but long lasting "RPG like" features that make you feel more powerful as you put more time into it (buying/ protecting land) is pretty damn sweet.

A deep GTA with this impressive engine would be epic. I just hope they go nuts with V the same way they went nuts with SA.

Yeah, I didn't so much give a shit about construction or trucking missions, but the RPG stuff was great. I just hope the soundtrack isn't shit like IV, and they bring back stuff from VC that they didn't even have in SA (managing property, good citizen bonus, holding up stores, etc).

“What is going on with GTAV?” – received via Mouthoff

We are very busy working on the game! Everything is going well, but the game is a huge project. We should have more information and some new assets for you soon.

“Why don’t you give us more news?” – received via Mouthoff

As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don’t do this because we ‘don’t care about our fans' 'don’t respect our fans’ 'hate GTA fans etc' – precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it. The only things we care about are that you enjoy the experience of actually playing the game and that we release accurate information. We just have not been in a position to show more of the game than the trailer and will not be for a while yet. We did, however, manage to sneak a quick screenshot out for you… it’s not much, but we thought it was pretty fun.

    Just wanted to post that.^^

---------- Post added at 04:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:26 PM ----------

“Hey guys hope everything is good over there in Rockstar. Just a question referring to GTA 4, the game was brilliant and I really enjoyed and still do, but what disappointed me was the lack of planes and jets... Can you tell me why you didn't include them, I'm sure you have a very valid reason?” – via Mouthoff

The city was simply too small for effective and enjoyable flying. It was the first time we made a high definition open world, and it was a massive amount of work to make something on that scale – we simply could not make an environment big enough for planes to work properly. Fear not, they are returning in what is our biggest open world game to date.

I would rather they just fix the shitty heli mechanics.

I'd want to hear more specific stuff about the game... not some jibber jabber about how committed they are and what not.

Give it some time. Rockstar is always pretty good about letting the info flow when the time is right.
