Kojima also brought up the subject of a sequel, reiterating that he would at some point like to make a proper sequel to Anubis, even adding that he was so impressed with the audience that the stage had drawn that he'd be returning to the office to have discussions with the staff. He also revealed that an Anubis sequel was at one point in development.

Hideo Kojima has posted several new shots on Twitter showcasing the opening video for the upcoming multiplatform compilation, Zone of the Enders HD Collection. The new footage is being done by Sunrise, a renowned Japanese anime studio responsible for several popular series like Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam SEED, Inu Yasha, Outlaw Star, Vision of Escaflowne and many more..

Zone of the Enders HD Collection contains remastered ports of Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (known in Japan as Anubis: Zone of the Enders). Zone of the Enders was released for the Playstation 2 in North America on March 1, 2001. The sequel came out on the same system on February 13, 2003.

So a question for those that played these old games. How are the controls? I ask because i have had bad experiences in the past e.g playing Onimusha 3 first and then purchasing the first game only to find out that the character controlled awkwardly with the D-pad. No analog support

ZOE 2 has probably the best controls of any mech game. Can't say about the first game since I only played it once.

i never actually played either of these games but i did see my son complete both. from what i saw he had a similar experience control wise with both games and never mentioned any problems

I agree with solidsnakejej the controls felt perfect for me. I did wanted similar contol for flight in a DBZ game. It just felt really natural.

It was a little awkward in ZOE 1 especially with some camera problems. But they did rectify few things in ZOE 2. The most awesomething is the speed and feel of the game. Especially when you go in close quarter combat and use the metatron blade.

No really major problem with it excepted that you only can go up and down vertically and in diagonals.

Nah, ZOE's controls always felt good. If you're new, or rusty, just go through the tutorials real quick and start zipping around the solar system slicing up robots. Felt great to me. ZOE handles 3 camera axis (x,y and ) better than most games handle x and y.
