Thread: Gravity Rush

  1. In all likelihood we are probably getting Remote Play capability for PS4 games... that's enough reason to keep it don't you think? A mobile PS4 man...

I can't put Gravity Rush down! Brilliant design and the gameplay is so rewarding the more time you invest in it....I truly do not understand the control gripes some users here and other re-viewers around the web were talking about. The more complex actions aren't pick-up-and-play and do require a learning curve, but man, once everything starts clicking its truly one of the better experiences I've had this generation...

I think the game would also work well on PS3, but the Gravity Dash really works well with motion gestures, and it's IMO Vita's first must-have experience. Story is weird, and intriguing and gets better the deeper you go, I guess the only gripe I have is the game isn't an official Action RPG. You have rpg-elements, but this game is so good, I would've love to have more exploration, town talking, side-quest and greater customization over combat/appearance etc...I literally don't want it to end...A joy to play every step of the way...probably about 60% through with the title...but easily a A- for the team behind this gem.

So relieved it sold enough to warrant a sequel...

And what is up with ppl not buying more Vitas! Best Handheld ever?!??! HANDS DOWN!!!! Hope the price-drop gets those crazy Japanese gamers off a 3DS a little, this thing needs to get gamers behind it. Everything hardware wise just works...

Now you're just making me feel bad. Christmas was nearly upon me; Last year was a hellishly depressing Christmas because I was stuck inside while everyone was enjoying themselves; this year I was determined to do something more exciting; but as it turns out I'm NOT ...

    Should have kept it.

Gravity Rush became much more enjoyable as I played it but the controls were god awful IMO most of the way through. How many times do you have to gravity kick towards an enemy and just go right through them? Anyways I got a bit annoyed with that and the gravity sliding was a bit rough at times especially during the challenge/side quests.

Btw I got the platinum to this game a day or so ago and now I'm working on the DLC. Good game, decent story, but flawed controls at times. Next game on my list is Dungeon Hunters and probably Escape Plan afterwards.

^ i stopped missing most enemies around half way through...

The gravity kick is Kat's best move, but you have to know which enemies are gonna dodge you at the last minute. Also, kick has auto-correct, so if you use your right trigger as well as the six-axis of the Vita, you will always hit a mark. But yeah, a lock on button would have been preferred, but then again, that might have made everything too easy

Gravity Sliding is truly a challenge, but once you master drifting, it's one of the more enjoyable abilities in the game. Still, a would have love to steer with the analogs rather than motion..controls....can't wait for the DLC

Definitely the best handheld ever. And Gravity Rush is the best handheld game ever. Just finished it. What an absolutely magnificent and completely unique game. Amazing!
