Finish Sly 2 and you'll know

  2. Still no word if Carmelita is coming back. If she is, I'm sure we'll get our fourth different voice actress for the character.

and I was scared the platform genre was dead besides mario and lbp...looks rather beautiful and extremely fun to play. Almost like a hybrid platformer/deep action game.

    Gotta love Sony's WWS....

@LaLiLuLeLo ; your drawings are official! go win a Vita!

  4. I did beat Sly 2. That was my favorite one. I must have forgotten.

There's a special kind of nerd though, who thinks computers will overtake mankind in thirty years, changing humanity in ways incomprehensible to us now, ignoring the third of the world without electricity. It gives spiritual significance to technology developed primarily for entertainment and warfare and gives nerds something to obsess over that isn't the crushing vacuousness of their lives.

Wtf, that's retarded?...Exact same game! And Sony should be leading the "buy one get the other free", it's the greatest marketing thing for VITA! FACEPALM.

Anyway, did watch the vid, looks very true to Sly games, should finish off 3 soon and will pick this up somewhere down the line.

They havent announced pricing yet so lets hope Sony see sense. I would love to play this on my VITA.

  8. Yes, still waiting for that verdict on Sly 3.

Trailer for the Vita looks good. This might be a day one buy for me for the PS3.

No!!! Delayed to 2013 I was so looking forward to this. The first half of next year is looking just ridiculous now. No one is going to make money.

I am really looking forward to this. Release date is confirmed as 5 February 2013

  14. Yea can't wait for these games man, after playing Sly HD I can't wait for this. Some of the best games I missed out on PS2 proper. Platforming feels sooo good in this game.

    Edit:

Wait I thought this game was cross buy??? It's not??

Quick ninja-oogle says it is cross buy still. I'm pretty sure it still is at least.

I'm not sure which one to get!

If I get the PS3 edition, I can get the Vita one.... but then I might need another mem card.... lmao.

But if I get the Vita version I don't have the PS3 box... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... decisions decisions...

I don't understand why this concept is so difficult to grasp? Store your PS Vita games on PS3 till you need them for the time being. Bigger memory cards and other solutions will arrive from Sony soon enough. Just be patient. I know it sucks and i called this months before launch but what else can we do? I am sure Sony have been monitoring the shitty situation and customer dissatisfaction on the issue. At least i hope they have. I am sure they will come up with something at E3.

  16. But I'm greedy AND lazy.

I'll probably end up buying a 32 GB memory card at some point and not have to deal with this

The sad thing is that the prices will never change because that is how all three have done it for years. So like you i am also probably going to bite the bullet and get one. I am currently on the 16GB and it's nearly full.

I think i conveyed my original point poorly though. What i was trying to say is that you will regret it if you buy the Vita version. Just get the PS3 version and storage will sort itself out hopefully soon.

  18. Yea I was leaning towards the PS3 version anyway, just wanted some more input, thanks

  19. It's odd but more I think about it, the more this is actually one of my most anticipated games of next year.

Xmas break I really need to tackle my backlog and my game list. Still some beasts on that list like XCOM, Dark Souls and Valkyria Chronicles to get through....Hitman, Dishonored etc...Sheeeiiiiiit.

But I think I will bump Sly above a few of them if I didn't clear my list by February. It looks as smooth and as fun to play so I am really looking forward to some nice fun platforming action.

  20. That's what I like about Sly and even Tales from Space: Blob. It's a relaxing game and can be played anytime. The game doesn't punish you so bad for doing something dumb, and there's always hidden stuff to search around for if you want to play with some skills.

I think Sony was pretty dumb to sell off Crash and Spyro... they could've kept them for a time like this and given them to a small but reliable studio like they gave Uncharted to Bend. Oh well.

At least they didn't sell Jak. We should have a new Jak cross platform too...

    I miss platformers
