Same. I had 4 tabs open.
Viper must have some demanding tabs.

I'm happy with it so far. The performance improvement by hardware acceleration is noticeable.

I need to redo the test. Also forgot to mention that I had hardware acceleration turned off. My GPU driver is acting funky.

Something else that kinda pisses me off about this...

I have a two monitor set up, and I currently use UltraMon to take full advantage of it. It places extra buttons for expanding the window over both monitors and fast switching to each monitor beside the minimize, maximize, and close out buttons at the top right of the window. When I have 4+ instances open the bars actually go behind my buttons so I cannot click on the tabs back there. Have to use hot keys for it.

Not really a problem for either program, just that they don't mesh well. I may wind up switching back down to 3.6 for a while because of it.

Have you contacted Mozilla about this? If you find problems like this you need to let them know, then they can fix it.

Downloaded but probably won't be able to install and really look into it for a few days.

Just got the notice, thought it's some sort of scamming.
Haven't noticed any changes so far though.

  10. Why so soon after FF4 (only three months according to Wiki)?

Updated, no noticeable difference in anything..

They have changed their release schedule for more rapid fire releases....similar to Chrome.

  12. While searching for the changelog, apparently they are planning to release 6 and 7 this year as well :/

I preferred having 4.1, 4.3 etc until something big came and using a number up for that but whatever.

I too preferred their old method. You knew something big was coming.

    FF4 already had that iirc.

  19. Yeah it was in FF4.

No proper updates and to top it off, I lost my Mouse Gesture add-on now since update made it unavailable. I somehow made it work with FF4 despite it not being made for that but I forgot how I did that. So if anyone knows (I think Viper uses it), let me know how to install it for FF5, thanks.

If you add the Nightly Tester tools you can force compatibility of any extension.
