Pokemon Black - Amazing Series First!

Having played Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Ruby, FireRed, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and now Black. I just wanted to share something mind blowing about the latest release.

Yes, Pokemon Black has managed to do something that no other version has managed to do thus far.

I have picked a grass-type starter.
Let that sink in a minute.

I've been playing this series since its inception and i've always either gone Fire or Water.

And just for a wee flashback, here is a commercial for Pokemon Red/Blue

Haha I chose the grass starter as well. I've always chosen the water starters when I play pokemon games so it was a pretty big thing lol.

I haven't gotten my copy yet, but I'll probably be choosing the grass one as well. My roommate already took the fire one, but the water one looks the worst out of all the starter Pokemon.

Went with water like I always do. Oshawott looks alright to me, but I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of its final evolution.
