Nothing is really gonna grab her at launch it seems. She needs a RPG, or an Adventure game. Hmmm, maybe Sims, I don't think she's ever played one, is the 3DS version taking advantage of the system or a straight-port? She might like SF4, but I'm sure she's tired of it by now...lol
If Legend of Zelda was a launch title it would be perfect...sigh, at least it's scheduled for this year though.

“Had the religion of Christianity been preserved according to the ordinances of the Founder, the state and commonwealth of Christendom would have been far more united and happy than they are. Nor can there be a greater proof of its decadence than the fact that the nearer people are to the Church, the head of their religion, the less religious are they.”

Im also on the wait and see list. I will probably only pick up a 3DS when Ocarina ( Ill be playing this for the first time i really hope its as good as everyone says and isnt overhyped because Twilight wasnt that amazing ) and MGS launches. MGS3 might just be a port but a Kojima port always has something extra and something special. Ill probably also pick up Okamiden. I dont think the Resi games and shooters are going to work too well on 3DS but hopefully ill be pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be picking up a 3DS at some point this year and not the next.
^ I didn't even finish Zelda TP, it doesn't hold a candle to Ocarina of Time. Looks like a solid time to pick it up though with Ocarina and MGS3, I'm busy with PS3 ATM with 2 more SP games left, so my wife needs something good to play.

You'll definitely like OoT over TP. TP is very much a remake of sorts of OoT though OoT seems to have pulled off the game much better. In fact, that was largely most peoples problem with TP...that it resembled OoT far too much without innovating something of its own.
Keep in mind that OoT is an older game and while somewhat graphically enhanced on the 3DS, it will look quite dated compared to TP and a lot of what made OoT great was how innovative it was at the time. Many gameplay elements which are have been standard for a while and won't feel as fresh for first time players as it did for us back in 1998.
