The Truth: Celda and Zelda3D

Well, for the past twenty four hours I've gotten no sleep whatsoever, researching and raking in all the information I could on the new Celda. And, from what I have gathered, I have created the truth. Just for you. Here it is:

Nintendo was coming out with a Nintendo 64"DD", or a expansion to the N64 which uses CD's. One of the first games to come out for this would be an EXPANSION to OoT. In order to play it, you'd have to have the original OoT cartride in the regular N64 slot as well as the expansion CD in the DD slot. I have discovered this add-on followed MANY of the same storyline as the new Celda does. Interesting, eh?

They stopped the production of this game due to the Gamecube.
    What happened?
INSTEAD, they transferred the game over to the GCN, and created it cel-shading, blah, blah, blah. Basically made it unique and unlike an expansion to suit the GCN.

BUT WAIT. What about the Zelda shown at Spaceworld, eh?
I answer you: It *IS* another game.
Will they finish it and release it ever? Who knows.

Don't believe me? Let's think about this. So, they made that Link and Ganon model just for a showey thing at Spaceworld? I think not.

(Is Ganon in the Celda? I don't think he is, no news that he is in it has been released. I think we'll be fighting some Pirate Captain as the boss.)

There WAS a 3D Zelda before Celda. They aren't just going to throw that out. I tell you, *THEY HAVE* An Un-Cel-Shaded Zelda game at least a quarter of the way finished. I garauntee it.

So Mr. Smarty Pants, what will the storyline be?
You are Link going through MULTIPLE HYRULES fixing past problems to EQUAL out all the worlds. Have you ever noticed almost every game doesn't follow the last games storyline? It's because THEY ARE DIFFERENT "Dimensions", if you will. So far, FOR EVER "Hyrule" or "Dimension" THERE WILL BE A CD. This was Unofficially announced before Celda was even announced.
The reason why they needed Celda first before they officially announced the 3D Zelda is because this was needed as it is a World in the new 3D Zelda.

(This is just my thoughts: You know what would be cool? If they had a 3D Zelda going into the Celda Hyrule, everything Cel Shaded LIKE Celda except for Link.)

Still don't believe me? Well, your just going to have to take my word for it. As I gather and put together more pieces of the puzzle, I will keep you all informed.

    More Info:

    More Info:

Link *WILL* screw up in Zelda3D, and disappear in all worlds. You will then have to control ZELDA and fix the problem to play as Link and continue on the story.

Ganon will also be in the game.

    BS.

You dont even get your information right.

The 64DD used writable-rewriteable disks but they were NOT CDs, they were more like 64MB Zip Disks.

Also almost every Zelda has a relation to each other in the Zelda "Timeline" and the "Multiple Link" theory of which even Shigeru Miyamoto had mentioned.

Zelda : OoT almost has a DIRECT Link with Zelda : LttP

    Main parts of Time Line

    Z : OoT -- > Z : LttP -- > Zelda

Face it, your making all this crap up, you have no Links to prove anything.

AND IT IS NOT CELDA

Its Zelda. And it is already 3D.

Oh yeah? From a Canadian website. I just saved the text, not the link:

Canadian website E3 XPress has posted a very interesting interview with a member of the Nintendo of Canada Family. The interview covers a lot of different issues including a second Zelda title for the GameCube. The interview is in French, but {4LeX} a regular member of our chat room was king enough to translate it for us.

We have the chance to speak with Lesley Short from Nintendo of Canada. I have a lot of questions for her in mind, considering the importance that Nintendo takes at this E3.

JXP: Does Nintendo have in plan to give a demo CD in the Nintendo Power ?

Lesley: Nothing have been said on that for the moment.

JXP: Zelda's new look deceive lots of people. Many would prefer a Zelda like one we seen at the Space World 2000. There's rumors who get out of the web saying that a second Zelda for Nintendo GameCube was in developement. Is it right ?

Lesley: Yeah, for sure. A second Zelda is now in developement for the GameCube. Unfortly, no details have been give.

JXP: Was you for or against the idea of a cell-shaded Zelda ?

Lesley: For. That's why the game is playable a this year E3. Miyamoto have asked people to not judge the game by their graphics only. Yes, the graphics are very important for a good game but there's others aspect who made a good game like the story, the gameplay, etc... And so, like you probably remark it, the game is in the same style that Ocarina of

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the 64DD thing, my bad. But you get the picture. I didn't spend my time researching THAT. I spent it on Zelda.

And your right, no links to prove it. You just have to take my word for it. I could give you my web address, but all that will do is repeat what I have already mentioned.

The storylines may be LINKED, but they aren't the SAME. Things DIFFER a lot from game to game. That's what makes them different worlds. Don't you see? They are taken there past mistakes and creating it into something that seems like they really weren't mistakes. lol.

If you don't believe me, fine. But I will be laughing at you in a year when Nintendo announces EXACTLY what I have said.

Celda is the nickname for Cel-shaded Zelda. It's what I call it and nearly all the fans do the same. I just called the other game Zelda3D because it will be more lifelike. If you want, I can call it ZeldaLifeLike or something.

    :fight:
    lol

  5. I think they have another Zelda in development that is not cel-shaded but I don't think you know what your talking about.

I dont trust anything from Nintendo of America, let alone an even smaller branch Nintendo of Canada, if it doesn't come from Shigeru's mouth, or at least Nintendo of Japan's mouth, its crap.

As for the storylines not being the same....

    OoT:

Talks about how the Three Godessess created Hyrule

Ganondorf became Ganon (Pig Demon) after being exposed to the power of the Triforce

The Sages seal Seal Ganon in the Golden Land.

    LttP:

Manual talks about the three God's who created Hyrule

Talks about how Ganondorf become Ganon after being exposed to the Triforce.

Ganon is sealed in the Golden Land by the seal of the Sages.

Oh, and true fans of Zelda would call them

    "Zelda GCN" and "SpaceWorld Zelda"

Celda is a negative term meant to mock the new Zelda.

Zelda3D is something you just made up.

  9. #9
*Sigh* Alright. I never said you had to believe me.

And I wasn't trying to diss or mock the new Zelda, it's just a term I picked up on other forums.

Jeez, I'm not trying to start a fight here. I just wanted to let you guys know what I've learned today. Man, you try to be nice these days and blows up in your face, lol.

anyone have the pictures or screens from "zelda 3d shown at space world 2001"????

  11. I heard somewhere that Shigeru Miyamoto said that there may be a non cel shaded Zelda to be released due to the bad reception of the Cel shaded Zelda. What the heck is wrong with the cel shaded Zelda? This looks like its gonna be the best Zelda game yet. I never want to hear the term "Celda" again.:mad

P.S. The people on this forum don't really warm up to news that is just a very complicated guess. Most will only believe if it comes straight from Nintendo.

P.P.S What makes NOA any better than NOC?

    Because America is better... DUH.....

Just kidding, I think people who say Celda are not true fans but I don't think it means they are not Zelda fans.

Hey gork if your staying with us update your team Z/Z is gone now its combined into Z-cube for fans of Zelda DBZ and NGC.

  14. ***disclaimer - for anyone who doesn't hate celda, this isn't directed toward you***
I think its funny to see people fabricating their own rumors because they are in denial about the cel-shaded Zelda. GET OVER IT. Nintendo absolutely 100% is NOT making a "3d Zelda." And even if they were, who cares? Why is everyone afraid of the cel-shaded look? I think its because they *believe* that they are "too old to watch cartoons and therefore play 'kiddy looking' video games." These are the same people who think that video games aren't cool unless they're mature because they think it will make them a "big boy"

I can guarantee everyone here that NO MATTER WHAT ZELDA LOOKS LIKE, it will be a damn good game. You can't call yourself a Zelda fan and then say you won't buy "Celda." Why? Because if you were a true Zelda fan, you'd know that no matter what the game looks like, the storyline and gameplay is always top of the line. Honestly, if the game had 8 pixels and it was black and white, but it was still FUN, I'd buy it.

I think that next generation is distorting people's minds into only caring about graphics. I have Rogue Leader. The game is only moderately good, yet it gets fabulous ratings. Why? Graphics. The game has less levels that Rogue Squadron, and absolutely no continuous plot, yet it is more fun? No, the game is nothing but a "decent" game.

Look at DOA3 for Xbox. It attracts millions of people. I've played the game, and it is one of the worst fighters I've played since Clay Fighter 63 1/3, and I'm not saying this because I'm a GC fan. How the hell can anyone like a game so much? Graphics.

Graphics are nothing. If GameCube had 8 bit graphics (but still had the same speed, and the games could actually have storylines - unlike NES), and it had games that were 100x more fun that Xbox games, people wouldn't buy it. This is fucked up in my opinion. Graphics are nothing. A game is all about storyline and gameplay (barring sports and figting games), not graphics. I can also guarantee that if "3d Zelda" had a terrible storyline and gameplay, and "Celda's" was amazing, people would still buy 3d Zelda over Celda. Why? Because they're idiots.

So all you candy-assed pussies who are too cool for cel-shading, have fun missing out on the best Zelda game of all time, because you were too hooked on graphics.

I really love you Sandman for taking the time to write that.

  17. Ahh, when I'm pissed, the time flies by.

  18. Very well put. Who ever said that games were met just for the graphics... Not I, Not anyone. Take Paper Mario for example, for the longest before the game was out, I thought it would be the most idiotic game coming out for the Nintendo 64. I was mistaken completely, the storyline and gameplay was pretty deep and it kept its originality and kept the rival competition against Mario and Bowser alive.

I'm just hoping one of the Zelda's for GC will have the classic Link vs Ganon(which they will probably have). Sure, I was pretty danm confused with Link's new look, but hey, thats life. After awhile, I just thought of it as LTTP in 3D form.

Who in the hell made that stupid bitchass "Celda" name anyway? It has begun to get on my nerves...

I don't know who but I've heard it called that ever since they said it was cel-shaded. Thus, calling it celda.

Zelda Storyline wont involve Ganon again I THINK, the actual storyline is Link going on a quest to rescue his sister.
