Japan GC console sales jump 400%

Gamecube sales in Japan last week jumped from an average of 10,000 per week to 40,000 due to Resident Evil being released. In comparison, last week XBOX in Japan sold only 5,000.

The place where I read about it said that Gamecube rose 25% and the Xbox went from selling 10,000 consoles a week and dropped to 8,000 last week. Gamecube sold 10,000 per a week and this last week they sold 12,500. I don't know where you got your information but I think it is a little off.
