What's with this Dragon Ball Z craze

Why is everyone in all sorts of fourms have all these Dragon Ball Z characters and crap. Their like everywhere, what's with it. I quit watching it because it wasted way to much time in each episode. They'd show things people really don't care about right in the heat of the action that would make me mad. The best Saga was the Frieza/Goku saga, after that the series was messed up. Then all I know I turn on the TV on day and see Cell and Vegetia Super Sayain, Trucks, and Gohon. Then I waited for the series to repeat and it was the gayest saga ever. It got on my nerves how cell got his power. It was all by mistakes of the Z warriors. Here are some mistakes:

1. Had andriod 18 and 19 just not slightly missed hitting where cell was be incubated he would not of came.

2. Had Krillin pushed the button and killed the girl andriod. (IMO this was the gayest moment in the history of DBZ. Krillin was on something when he did that had he destroyed her she wouldn't still be there. He loved an Andriod how stupid.)

3. Had Vegetta not been arrogant and allow cell to absorb the other Andriod.

4. Had Gohon not been so arrogant Goku would still be alive.

That was one of the most messed up series ever. So I gave up on DBZ after that, I don't think a new series has came out but if it does I hope it's better than that Saga. But I've moved on to Cowboy Bepop, and Trigun and stuff like that.

ur an idiot. Dragonball z is the best cartoon ever made and all the sagas were good (except the garlic jr. saga), man u might as well stick with those other shows caz u can never be a dbz fan had any of those things happened that u wrote the whole saga would have just stopped then u would be like wtf. so u basically need to shut up or watch something else and does this belong in a gamecube disscussion forum?

The Cell Saga is way and better and detailed than the Frieza Saga. The Garlic Junior saga was a bit on the downside. There is a new saga called the Buu Saga. It's not in here in Australia which is where I live but it's out in the US. People keep saying it's the best Saga yet. So i suggest you take a look at that saga.

Zues, its an Anime not a Cartoon... even if it is heavily edited and aimed at Children in the US, it WAS an Anime

GameCubeFan, DB is overall a very popular series, and for a good reason. Its a pretty good series and probably one of the longest running in Anime history. Overall the story line is interesting. Personally I like the begining of the series (called Dragon Ball not DBZ, in the Anime versions) it was cooler, had a lot more story, and didn't focus on fighting so much.

Time to analyze your stuff LOL

Yeah well accidents happen. Even androids aren't perfect

He was on Viagra... he had like the hots for her or something and didn't want to kill her... and plus if he killed her we couldn't all of laughed at how Perfect Cell killed him with one kick LOL.

Well thats his character... Vegetta IS Arrogant.

I'm not sure about this one, don't remember Gohon ever being arrogant, and I missed a few eps here and there.

I'm not a DBZ fan.... i started watching too late in the story...

But i am adicted to the Pokemon story.... *ducks incoming boots and bricks*

i dunno why.... i just like the story line to it

That was one of the many, many, many things I didn't like about DBZ as well. They did it way too much in the Cell Saga. Right in the middle of the intense fight between Gokuu and Ceru, they'd feel the need to go right back to Trunks and the other Z fighters, or Mr. Satan and his posse just to say how strong/fast Gokuu is for the 100th or so time, or say "ITS JUST A TRICK!"... Bah.

I agree. I like it the best because this is where the series was supposed to end. Gokuu was supposed to reach his limit in power(The Super Saiya-jin transformation), and become the most powerful being in the universe, and then die... Along with Vegeta, Piccolo, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, Yamucha, Choutzu... All of the vets. Gohan and Bulma were supposed to be the only survivors. The way the characters gained their strength later on was just rediculous, IMO. And they did it so easily when you think about all the hardships they had to go through during DB and the beginning of DBZ. After the Freezer Saga the series just became a cash-in. There wasn't really any thought put into it. I mean, c'mon... ANDROIDS?! Humans with mechanical enhancements being capable of defeating Super Saiya-jins? Psh... Ceru, I can understand. But the Android thing was just stupid. Buu is a little more understandable, too. But the whole Buu saga was just a cash-in too, IMO.

Yep... Just dragging the saga on much longer than it had to be. Annoying as hell.

He wasn't arrogant. He was just venting all of that built up anger that he was holding inside of him before. He wanted Ceru to suffer.

So I gave up on DBZ after that

There is the Buu Saga thats going to aired on September 10th, and the craptacular Dragon Ball GT which is going to take a while to dub... But, trust me... They're not that much better than what you're seeing now.

But I've moved on to Cowboy Bepop, and Trigun and stuff like that.

Yet again, your opinion. Some people(Like myself) dont like most of them because they feel as though they were there just so Toriyama could get some extra cash. That, and they have a lot of plotholes and other glaring flaws I dont want to get into.

... I agree with you, to an extent. I dont think its better, but I do think its more detailed because of all the stupid plot twists and rediculous advancements in power.

Yeah, its a pretty good if you compare it with the Ceru Saga. I still dont like how the characters get that strong, but... The plot was improved, at least.

... I wouldn't say its the crappiest. It is a pretty interesting show. It just gets worse and worse as it progresses, IMO.

There are much worse shows... The majority of American cartoons, and there are quite a few bad animes.

No offense here, but if you hate it so much, why the hell did you make a post about it? There are very few people who dislike Dragon Ball Z. It's just that popular of a series.

People like DragonBall Z for many things. Mostly because the drawings look great also because it has a lot of action(something that is lacking in a lot of cartoon series today)

Most of all people like DragonBall Z because... they just do.

I went on Kazza and downloaded a DBZ episode off of it. It had showed Vegita and Goku combining and then they fought against Buu. I couldn't believe what I heard. This combinated version of Goku and Vegita told Buu to shut the f**k up. I was like what? They actually cussed in DBZ?????? Then I downloaded another episode, and it was like wow. It was way more mature, both have been sub-titled or where the words appeared at the bottom. This Buu character is interesting, it looks awesome. I'm going to get more episiodes, the characters look really cool. And these combinated version of Vegita and Goku looked cool he looked like Goku with an earring. I cannot wait till they send those versions over. I'm going back on Kazza to get some more. Oh and in the other I downloaded Goku had a tail again, it was weird.

like every time i d/l japanese dbz eps from kazaa it always stops and frezzes at the middle of the episode. it sucks. and dbz doesn't suck (opinion) all the sagas were good to me ( well maybe not the garlic jr. saga)
