Actually the console is $220+ cause you need a mem card.

I really don't want to break down the components yet again and show you that to even get to the level of the XBox, will most likely cost you more then the XBox. I mean, it really should be $150. Cause to get online will cost around $40 or so for another add-on.

All in all, XBox is a terrific bargain, cause you get a lot.

no, what I was saying was, it just plays games

consoles today, and even the 6 year old PS1, can play other formats, like CD's

the GC can't do any of that with it's proprietary format, so basically all you have is a game machine, without any features to make it more usable for other things

thus, i think the GC is actually over priced at $199, cause you get nothing but a game machine

graphics are obviously better, you missed the point of what i was saying, it is just a game machine with no features what so ever

nintendo will lose less mony/console and its still cheaper...so in the end...its cheaper but since its all about gaming...that's why it cost less and that's why i/many other dont care about all the other things.

Man I remember about a month ago when all we GC fans talked about our own GC design, GC colors, GC controller design, what we want added but not important, what games we want, our own game idea, our own GC design, etc. Man I miss those days but I'll do something different to make it feel like it cam back.

Thats what most people think but its because of Unreal. He and some other people just decided to trash the GC forums and he thought he won and said an apology. Before that I didn't make fun of x-box. After Unreal did that some other x-box fanboys followed.
