  2. i will later but you have to do something about next genner he is still on a bashing frenzy.

  3. as promised... to start of DOA3

    http://www.msxbox.com/php/full_post.php3?id=1261

Tecmo has done extensive research into the technical capabilities of the Xbox and is convinced it is the ideal platform on which to showcase the latest entry in this extremely popular franchise. DOA 3 will debut on the Xbox, and is scheduled to be among the first wave of Xbox titles available when the system launches this fall. Microsoft views Dead or Alive 3 as a strategic launch title and plans to support it accordingly.

"We have great plans for DEAD OR ALIVE 3," said John Inada, Marketing Director at Tecmo Inc. "Thanks to the incredible graphic and sound capabilities of the Xbox, DEAD OR ALIVE 3 will set a new standard for fighting games. When gamers get the chance to see it at E3, I’m sure they’ll agree that nothing comes close to it

    and a video: ttp://xboxmovies.ign.com/media/tgs2001/video/DOA3.mpg

Dead or Alive 3 gives gamers the ability to enjoy a richer, more intense, action-packed experience than was previously possible on a video game system. Dead or Alive 3 is a 3D fighting game transplanted from the arcade to home, specifically for the Xbox.

“We at Microsoft were looking for the ideal fighting game to showcase the power of our new system. After looking over all the popular fighting games, we came to the conclusion that Dead or Alive 3 was the perfect choice for us,” said J Allard, General Manager, Xbox Platform. “The talented programmers at Tecmo have worked wonders so far, and when gamers see the final product, I’m convinced they will be blown away.”

  5. whatever

it still is 50% of final power.and if you think this sucks i hope you dont buy a gamecube or a ps2 you may get dissapointed,if i where i id wait until gamecube2 since you hate these grafics.

xbox craching is a lame remark, did you know every console develope craches when its still not finished? look at ps2 when i made its debut.and i have heard something about the RS2 demo crashing.its nothing to worry about since its STILL development hardware

    suck huh?

and that billboard is animated that is why it looks like that(it doesnt look nice on a screen capture)

    Why are you so picky? O_o;

i mean come on, look at the ones above, around the edges rough edges everwhere, no real circles all rough multijointed polygons(except the bump mapped and MVCTI movies and rendered pixils
.... Dude. Its hard to spot those "rough edges" you keep talking about. They're hardly noticable. I would like you to show me a screenshot from a game running on Gamecube hardware that shows no "rough edges"... You wont be seeing graphics of that quality for a couple of years, my friend.

i bet most of you don't even know what happened at E3, i was there and the x-box crashed 2 times. they said it was just because it was an uncomplete system, well that's a buncha shit cough*coverup*cough
I wasn't there, but I know the XDKs never crashed. But there were some Audio/Video problems during the presentation. Not the Xbox's fault.

BTW- I believe the PS2 crashed once or twice during last year's E3. But I wont make a big deal out of it... You dont see many PS2s crashing now, do you?

  7. gamecube was running on near final hardware.
the flipper got downgraded to make a better match with te gekko of a 1:3 radius.
    get your facts straight.

Than the Xbox?... In my opinion its a little too close to tell. But you gotta give the Xbox props. What we saw at E3 wasn't on final hardware, and most of what we saw was matching/surpassing what we were seeing on finished Gamecube hardware. They can both pump out some pretty nice visuals though. So lets not turn this into some big technical debate.

and the PS2 didn't crash 1 time it crashed 3 times, 1 time at E3 2000 and 2 times at space world 2000.
Err, wait... The PS2 crashed at "space world"... Thats Nintendo's show, is it not? Did you just make a mistake, or have I misunderstood you?

oh i forgot to tell you that the gamecube is still running on 1/3 power and with the new memory and Gekko chip, the GameCube is now faster and more powerful than the X-Box and is running on less over all power to system ratio
... Heh. I dont believe you, but lets see some links from developers(That aren't working close with Nintendo, or favor them(ex.- Factor 5)) saying that the GC "is still running on 1/3 power"...

Oh, and approx01... Dont forget, I want to see a game running on the GC with no "rough edges".

approx01, just watch yourself. No need for comments like that. You start unnecessary flame wars like that. I think you guys have had enough of those, dont you?

1)SpaceWorld IS nintendo's show but they do "rent out" sections to other companies
Alright, I see. Didn't know they did that.

I dont remember hearing anything about PS2 at Spaceworld... Hm, oh well.

2)there is no game or pic that does not show rough edges, jus' that the x-box loks like a high tech "etch a sketch"
Heh, I talked about this in the other thread.

    Good day!..

I can barely see the jaggies, so you must be on crack... Anyway, thanks for posting that info. XB looks pretty cool, and I will consider buying it over a NGC. I'll never get a PS2 over an NGC, cause I just don't like Sony.

So, I hope both NGC and XB come out to be great systems, and hopefully I'll be able to play the X-Box.

    simps:

There is no game on the Xbox like that right now, at least not any that are being made by some really experienced, and talented developers. The only one that I think is comparable to it is Project Ego. And that, IMO, looks better than that, even with a couple of "rough edges" here and there.

Now I'm going to be picky like approx:

[sarcasm]I CAN SEE THE ROUGH EDGES ON THAT ROMAN GUY'S HAND! AND I SEE AN EDGE ON HIS LEG TOO!! THAT GAME SUX0RZ!!![/sarcasm]

    ... ^_^; I'm joking, of course.

  19. #20
You know what? I take that back... Not even Project Ego should be compared to this. PE has large open and spacious enviroments with a lot of details put into foilage(grass, trees), buildings and everything else.
