X-Box looks like a giant choad.

still laughing about your earlier BS.. lol even one of your fellow XBOXers, xboxspitsonGAYcube, has left the XBOX side!!! and joined the GAMECUBE side!!! GO NINTENDO! YEAH

  3. I'm going to buy the Xbox... I think it has great potential. You should hear what the developers are saying about it.

GameCube has the history, Sony has the fanbase, I'm very willing to give the Xbox a chance.

what ARE the developers saying about it? all ive heard is

"XBOX has nothing that anybody wants"

"I was disappointed with this dismal XBOX showing, the only appearance the console made was in a glass box by the toilets"

"The XBOX just isn't ready yet, and never will be..."

Those are from TIME, IGN, FGN, and Reuters :P

then add to that the fact that they have a dismal performance and graphics

then add the fact that they have NO exclusive games i REALLY want

then add the 300 dollar price tag and the fact that i ALREADY have a good dvd player, a great internet connection,

you get one trashy system from all that

  5. Although all console arguments go in cricles I'll say statistically Xbox has the lowest chance of sucess. Thats easily seen without knowing the statistics. Yes I know I'm partial, but the facts aren't. Xbox is from Microsoft, when you think about Microsoft videogames, specifically console games don't come up. What will pop up will be OS's, BSOD's, and a very rich guy with glasses. Sony and Nintendo have been weathered, so they're known in the industry and will pull off with the biggest launch profits and the higher sales for a good amount of time. Lets not forget Nintendo has a very well organized battle plan. Nintendo's learned they're mistakes with the 64 and believe me they won't make the same mistakes with GCN. I know the Xbox/PS2 fanboys want more, but once again these arguments just go around in circles, until someones humiliated to the point of making a name change. Then the process is repeated again.

  6. Yes I'll admit that the Xbox had a bad showing at E3, and I'll refrain from going into how much the Xbox has accomplished in the minimal amount of time it has had.

    Okay, simps:

I can give you just as many (and probably more) quotes saying the opposite of what your quotes say. Things like, "The Xbox has everything anybody wants" for example. But since my entire response including those quotes was just wiped out by the eeeeevil "back" button somehow, I won't do that here.

But my most important point that I simply MUST address is that of so called "statistics". I have studied in the field of stats for three years, and I can tell everyone (with a standardized %99.99 confidence interval measured at the %1 Z-Stat SRS result) that predictional statistics mean absolutely nothing. You can never ever use statistics in predicting something because we live in a world that is not governed by stable laws. We have free will. Anyways, I can go into further depth, but, seeing as how MS has never released a console before, there are no statistics that can be used anyway, so whomever tried to use those stats to predict that the Xbox would fail has put 2 and 2 together to get 10. You just can't do that. Sorry, but that irks me.

So Pretendo, whatever statistics you've used or read about are completely false and irrelevant. There's no way to even GET an S.R.S. in a situation like this.

And one more thing, your "facts" are actually "opinions". When I think about MS videogames, I don't think about the BSOD or OS's. Particularly since I don't get the BSOD. That's usually a user problem and not a computer problem. (My experiance please note)

Anyways, like you said Pretendo, we could go around in circles forever. So I'll just say this; I'll buy the Xbox, you buy what makes you happy (GC I assume) and we'll both be happy, and that's what counts. Not bickering over console power or games or whether or not it'll suck. "My opinion will always be different from the man whose opinion differs from mine."

Pretty basic, but it means something more.

    Thanks for reading.

way to just circle around a whole bunch of bullcrap by trying to impress us with what comes off as something completely foreign

Sure what I said are opinions, opinions that count. Then you went into statistics... hell man, statistics are all that most xbox fanboys have to back their system up! Microsoft didn't even show software playable on the finalized hardware... and they expect to have that monster ready for launch??? They won't, not unless they have some secret slave labor plants hidden somewhere. So would you take a system that doesn't have the best games out there, that costs 100 bucks more, is bulky and not something you can easily look at for more than 20 seconds at a time, comes out a few months later than the cheaper competition, and has a so called "difficult" and "frustrating" controller? You know nothing about games if you think this system can compete, they may have a good launch, because microsoft can publicize the hell out of any piece of crap (i bought windows.. didnt i?) and still sell it.. give nintendo 6 months post launch.. then let's see who's buying a gamecube.

oh yeah and dont try to act mature and downplay all these fun little bickering.. just because we're beating the hell out of your xbox supporting manwhores. after all if this bickering is so foolish, why did you post? peace out!

and pretendo wasn't using statistics really.. more like common sense.. who doesnt think of windows or geekazoid gates when you say microsoft..

another point to make.. many analysts say that microsoft has no chance of suceeding in japan.. now what more popular company also failed in japan.. oh yeah Nintendo with the N64!! and how did that turn out? ehh not so good.. could we see a simliar trend with microsoft... i think so.. after all japanese gamers seem to prefer cheaper products.. and besides.. you've seen japanese houses.. lol i could fit a japanese family of 5 in the xbox.. but no way an xbox in an ordinary japanese house :P

  9. Okay simps, I'm sorry I upset you with my big words, but I'm not here to start fights. Pretendo made good points and I supported that. I wasn't argueing with Pretendo, I wasn't insulting Pretendo. I was merely bringing up my own points and then backing those points with my own credibility. (Your so called "foriegn" aspect of my posts.)

Oh and BTW, I can also bring up a quote that said that the Xbox controller was "Surprisingly comfortable and practical."

    Settle down man.

You're in no position to tell people to stop their bickering.

And by the way, if you're into statistics and such, you should know that other people's opinions don't really matter either. They're just as wrong as stats can be. So don't try and defend yourself with quotes (same goes to you simps).

I like these little disputes people have over systems. I hate people who try to stop them. Your petty reasons are going to stop people from having disagreements. So you might as well contribute to the battle or leave the field.

As for myself, though, will not get an X-Box no matter what anyone says. I already hate Micro$oft for their highly unstable software (which leads me to not getting an X-Box).

I don't even know what I'm doing in these forums, bye!

  11. Not all MSXbox posters are as dumb as Clorq. Some of them are, but not all of them. I own a PS2, and will definatly buy a Gamecube, and maybe even an Xbox, but GC is my main system.

You mean how all those morons at MSXbox.com bash Gamecube day in and out. I'm done with that P.O.S. forum. For all I care all the gamecube fans can send it to the 10th level of hell. That's MSXbox.com. Go for it people have a field day on their arses.

I never told anyone to stop bickering.

BTW, what the hell's up with all the newbies all of a sudden?
